Good Sander
Not used it a great deal yet, but it does seem better on dealing with vibrations, the sander it replaced always left my hands feeling tingly after prolonged use, this seems better. Although it has more expensive. Apart from that it’s a sander and it sands stuff.

A great wee sander.
Bought this a few months ago to sand down skirting boards, door frames and bannister. Very pleased with it. I particularly liked the handles : you can use either the 'door knob' type grip on the top or the handle on the end which made it easier for working at different angles. You can also use both hands to hold the sander which gives greater control. This sander is not as noisy as our previous Mouse sander. Velcro attachment for sanding sheets so easy to change when needing to replace. This sander uses Black and Decker Mouse sanding sheets, but check the pattern of the holes match. I also like the small extension tip which again is easy to fit and makes it easier to sand very small areas. It has a dust collection bag, but it doesn't collect all the dust, maybe 50% or 60% so still need to vacuum once finished. It also needs frequent emptying, but I didn't find this an issue. The long cable attached was an advantage as I didn't need to use an extension cable. It is slightly heavier than my previous Mouse, but still a comfortable weight. It's a very good sander for the price and of good quality. I would certainly recommend it.

Excellent Sander
Brought this as needed to sand down 4 cupboard doors that had layers of old gloss paint on them. Worked brilliantly. Needed to buy better pads though.

It was powerful for a section of a wall
I bought this last year for my wallpaper thinking they will do a good job for the whole of my room, but to be fair, it did do a good job for one of the walls

Hello Emma.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the STANLEY FATMAX 120W Corded Detail Sander.
The SFMEW210 is designed for sanding wood, metal, plastics, and painted surfaces. It is not specifically intended for plasterboard, so care should be taken to avoid damaging the surface.
Thank you for using Q&A.
