Great Beginner Streaming Camera
If you want to try streaming with a camera on your ps5 this one is plug and play and you can adjust the settings easily. The camera quality is good but does not do great in low light. Overall it is good practice camera if you plan to get more into casual streaming. I wish the clip was a bit more versatile so I could attach it to more places.

Great small camera for your streaming
The PS5 HD Camera is a decent add-on if you’re into streaming directly from your console. The 1080p quality is good, and the background removal is a nice touch, but I wish it had a built-in mic. It’s easy to set up and works well, but unless you're streaming, it doesn’t add much to the experience.

If you are looking to just talk to him a Headset may be a better option.

From the information we have available, I can advise the Sony PlayStation 5 HD Camera is not compatible with PlayStation VR games. To use PlayStation VR on the PS5, you'll need the PlayStation Camera for PS4 along with a PlayStation Camera adaptor.

The Sony Playstation 5 HD Camera doesn't work with games in that way, please see the below from the Product Description:

When streaming it is customary to have a second monitor to view the stream and comments etc from people from the platform. If they are only streaming direct from the PS5 then the Sony Playstation 5 HD Camera is all you will need.

Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
To play PS VR on a PS5 console, the customer will require the PlayStation Camera adaptor. The PlayStation Camera adaptor is used to connect the PlayStation Camera (sold for the PlayStation 4 console) to a PS5 console. This allows the use of PS VR when playing supported PS4 games on a PS5 console, including games that require PlayStation Move or PS VR aim controllers.
Please note: The new HD camera for PS5 is not compatible with PS VR

Just to clarify the last guy; the PS5 camera won't work for PSVR.
For PSVR you need to connect your 'old' PS4 Camera with a free adaptor that Sony provides on request.
Yes it certainly will but you will require a adapter supplied free of charge by Sony. You will have to fill in a quick form personnel details address ect then the serial number on your Psvr. Happy gaming
