Just cemented this in to the garden. The range of figment tubes is a nice touch, as is the plug to place in the top of the spike to hammer it in without damaging the spike itself. Only time will tell if it’s up to the job, but all looks great at the moment.

For most gardens with firm soil, the spike alone is usually fine.
If your rotary airer wobbles, or if the ground is loose, adding post mix will make it completely stable.

No it will not, if it can accommodate a 50mm pole and spec says it is 5.5cm it obviously wont fit into a 40mm hole in concrete

Apologies, no, you can only do this from big to small, not the other way around. You would need to change the ground spike to a 45mm one.

I fixed mine in with concrete as it kept tilting in grass. It's quite chunky on the smaller size lines and you will have to use the all the adjusters.
