10/10 hoover!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this hoover last week and so far I love it! It’s a big adjustment from my old hoover but I love having it not plugged in! The light and detect mode is my favourite. Very lightweight. Will just take some getting used too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this hoover. I have had other shark hoovers in the past which I was happy with but this is definitely an upgrade. I have a large washable rug in the lounge which often got sucked up with my old hoover (very frustrating), this hoover adjusts the suction perfectly. I love the blue light as it makes seeing dust and dirt to make sure I don't miss anything as it is often hard to detect on my light wooden flooring. the auto clean feature is amazing as it means I don't need to empty or clean the chamber. the rubber bristles are definitely an upgrade as it is easier to clean and wrappers do not get stuck when accidently hoovered up. the stand had storage for the attachments which is great as they have a place to store, rather than sticking them in a drawer to get lost. overall I love this new hoover and I'm so thankful that i got chosen to be a product tester.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly well done shark for using zero plastic packaging, well protected using just strong paper and cardboard. Easy to assemble and feels well made, I did think it was a little heavy but once you start hoovering then it doesn’t seem so bad. Love the automatic dirt detect mode, switching to high suction when needed and also when detecting edges to the room, carpet's look noticeably cleaner as it does such a good job. The smaller head attachment takes a little time to get used to, but once you understand the angle it has to be operate at, it works well on the stairs. The automatic emptying is brilliant, as soon as it’s placed on the docking base. No more dust flying everywhere when manually emptying! The addition of an anti odour cartridge is a nice touch too. Surprisingly the charge gives you a good run whilst always using high suction and is also fairly quick to charge. Now why I only gave the product 4 stars… firstly you only get a basic “quick start guide’ in the box. The full instruction manual is only accessible via the QR code, which is frustrating when you’re still “learning” and need to refer back to the instructions or when something goes wrong. Would be so much easier to have a physical copy in your hand, instead of having to use a phone or tablet. (My parents would be a bit lost as they don’t use smart devices). Seems to be the norm for shark/ninja products nowadays, didn’t have one in my ninja airfryer either. Another downside is that the vacuum will just abruptly stop when either needing to be emptied or out of charge, it would be helpful if the display flashed red when it’s about to stop. Last time it stopped the screen showed I had approx a quarter battery left moments before, so I thought it was due to needing to be emptied. But it never started again so I guess it was for both reasons. Overall a great vacuum and does a brilliant job, a couple of design tweaks would have made it 5 stars in my opinion.

As a typical bloke I didn't do too much vacuuming. I had the little round red one which did the job but on getting a dog I felt I needed an upgrade. Is shark model is actually enjoyable to use and my house is cleaner than ever just because I find myself going to grab it more often. My house is not blessed with sockets in the most convenient places so being cordless makes it much easier to whiz around the whole house with the little light on the front lighting up my way. I am a simple man and the light on the front is probably the difference between this being a chore and being a novelty, vacuuming at night now feels like an extremely low budget Fast and the Furious movie. The self-empting function is also very handy have been using it for a few weeks now and have an app to empty any bins it's great.

Great hoover - very glad to be using shark again!

This is a big upgrade from my Samsung jet bot cordless. I had a shark before the Samsung jet bot and it worked great for a number of years and then just failed so I moved to the Samsung jet bot. I’m so glad to be back with shark, the cleaning is far superior compared to the Samsung. The only negative I have at this stage is the battery life. I think it would have been nice to receive a second battery which is what I had for my previous shark and had with my amazing jet bot cordless

New features, love the detect mode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived last week and made good use of it over the weekend. It's an upgrade to my old corded HV390 which I have owned for around 7 years without major issues. Onto this new model - it's light weight and glides seamlessly across different flooring types. I have tried on laminate flooring, kitchen tiles and a tight pile carpet so far. Used the hand vac option on the stairs and the amount of hair and dust collected was unbelievable. A couple of features I have find quite funky and seem to work really well - 1) the auto detect mode changes speed according to the amount of dirt, if the area is fairly clean then it runs on low speed saving battery 2) has a angled light on the floor nozzle allowing you to see dirt. The tank empty works quite seamlessly, as soon as its docked the smaller tank is emptied into the larger base. It makes a whirring noise to empty so its not the quietest process however it can be turned to silent if it's late at night. Mine will not need emptying each time I dock it therefore turned this feature off temporarily. Battery life seems to be really good, managed to clean 5 large rooms and still had some life. Overall seems to be a nice vac. The stand with the tank is a good addition, you will need a bit of space to have this, it's not overly big and fairly compact but obviously bigger over than just the vac itself, I have stored mine in the corner of the dining room rather than hiding it away in a cupboard like the previous one, it looks quite neat for a vac.

Best Upgrade ever.

i have had this hoover now for 2 months, what can i say but WOW my previous Shark was a stratos which i have had for a few years and thought that did a good job until i decided to upgrade, this has blown my Stratos out of the water , the auto empty system is great no having to keep emptying or batteries to charge its always ready to use when you want it and hoovering is no longer a chore, i have 2 dogs and 2 cats to clean up after and it just takes it in its stride,i am in a 2 Bedroom bungalow and it holds its charge to do the whole house, was a bit on the pricey side when i invested in mine but well worth it, even more of a bargain now as the price has been reduced, highly recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! Absolutely fantastic! I have arthritis in both my hands and this cleaner is a breeze to use. Light weight, powerful and very easy to control. It glides across my wooden floors, carpets and rugs. The blue light on the wooden floors highlights and debris/dust so you can be sure it has done a thorough clean. I have three dogs and it picks up all of their fur and even the odd dog kibble with ease without clogging. I’ve used it on my curtains, sofa , beds and dining furniture, nothing has been an effort. Instead of dreading vacuuming I find myself rushing to make use of this product. Shark Ninja has not disappointed with this well thought out vacuum. I cannot recommend this enough, even the kids love using it which is a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product last Thursday and in that time I've put it through its paces. I've tried it on everything. Pros Super fast delivery. Easy to put together. Transitions between carpet and hard floor in less than a second. The illumation is amazing, can see under tables, oven etc. Lights up blue for hard floor and white for carpets. The side suction when going down skirting is amazing, even on carpets. Using the mid point bend is a game changer, can now easily reach under table, oven and bed. The motorised head and crevice tools are fantastic especially the motorised head. I have cats which means a lot of fur, this easily lifts fur with no issues. The docking station holds the tools and the hoover whilst charging. There's a light on the battery indicating it's charging and when it's fully charged. The LCD display is clear, shows what setting its on and the battery level clearly. I hoovered my 3 bed house with 1 empty mid point and still battery left. Runtime is spot on. The docking station also has a deodorising can to stop bad smells. The docking station empties the hoover fully in seconds. The colour is lovely. Has an eco setting which extends the battery, you can boost the suction. Cons Would be nice to have a larger dirt holding capacity. Otherwise this has now replaced my previous hoover. I would recommend this to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with my first shark so the obvious choice when i needed an upgrade was another shark. On delivery i found it well packaged with eco friendly packaging. It came with a good selection of tools. Included was a quick start sheet but was disappointed not to have a user manual.? A quick call to the service department and within in minutes i received a user manual via email with a hard copy to follow so full marks to them. Once registered it comes with a 5 year warranty and 2 years on the battery. To begin it is light and just seems to glide over the carpets and hard surfaces although on a thick pile carpet a little more effort is needed. Using the additional mini head it made doing the stair carpet light work. Housing the charging unit and bin takes up no more space than a conventional vacuum. I found the new improved brush roller excellent at picking up the dog hairs. Suction overall was excellent plus there is a boost mode for more stubborn areas. I am at a loss when you would use the eco mode .? I found the blue light on hard surfaces a nice touch . The edge detect works most of the time and when it finds it difficult you have the option of using the nozzle attachment. I liked the fact you can fold the stem to get under hard to reach place.Another detail well thought out, one of the things you didn't know you needed til you had it. Summing up i am very pleased with this model and a much better choice than the competitors.
