Surpassed my expectations

The 780NC's have consistent clear sound and vocals through various genres, excellent deep authentic sounding bass, large soundscape. I can make out individual instruments. A great music listening experience. I was surprised by how good the noise cancelling is, it cuts out almost all background noise and I can barely hear myself typing on a keyboard. It's like my own space of peace inside my headphones away from the noise. I have a relatively loud air purifier and I'm not able to hear it at all with ANC turned on. Connectivity to my pc was simple. I turned the headphones on and I got a pop up on my PC saying "connect" it was as easy as clicking one button. Clear audio for phone calls. Great volume. I can turn it up high with no distortion and you don't feel like its hurting your ears. Charging is simple and fast with USBC. The fact that the headphones have a mic is great and very convenient. Comfy padding and fit well on my head. I can honestly forget I'm wearing them they are so comfy and stay secure on the head. The 780NC's have surpassed my expectations in almost every way, especially for the price. Highly recommend!

Impressed by the fit and sound quality

I have used multiple Bluetooth headphones in last couple of years and wanted to try out these new ones from JBL as I have used their speakers and I really like the sound quality. First thing I noticed as soon as I opened these was that they are really lightweight compared to others I have used in the past. However, after trying these on i found these to fit a lot tighter to my head. I am a tall guy with above average sized head and normal hair volume. The foam covering at the top of the band feels quite comfortable. The headphones stay in place even while walking and they didnt squeeze my ears. The sound is really good quality as I have seen with other JBL products and on par with high end headphones as well. The music is very clear and crisp with a good bass. I could listen to my music without outside noise during my commute to office. The noise-cancellation was good and works quite well even when I try to take office calls when Iam outdoors. Battery life is quite long and a quick charge that does not take too long. And connectivity very easy including an app download which has a lot of customisation as well as different modes which are well tuned for different types of media. The buttons are well built and easy to locate on the headphones. The only major issue I noticed was rhe lack of charging cable and including a flimsy bag instead of a case. Overall, I am really impressed by the fit and sound quality of these headphones and would highly recommend.

Everyday use

These are good headphones for everyday use, they stay on very tight which is positive when walking or working out. The design is great and foldable which is handy. The noise cancelling could be improved as not much difference with the ambient. Overall positive performance

Pretty good headphonesart

These headphones are pretty good for helping leave the house with sensory issues involving sound. The noise cancelling is not the best I've experienced but very good, allows me to be in places I'd not normally manage due to the sound issus. I really like the feature on the app where you can time different calming noises and adjust each ear levels. The casing round the ears is not as soft as my previous headphones but also means they incase the ear to help noise reduction. The battery life is fantastic and the best I've experienced for headphones. The headpiece with the cushioning does allow for long wear throughout the day and ears only get uncomfortable after several hours. The sound quality of music is very good as well. They also seem quite sturdy and less easy to break than previous headphones. Overall I would definitely buy these headphones again, they definitely make a huge impact in my current life.

Noise cancel is great

Decided to get some headphones for an upcoming longhaul flight. I normally use earbuds but they can get a little uncomfortable long term, safe to say these were exceptional. Fit over my ears and were good for extended periods, most surprising was how good the noise cancellation is. Actually cut down so much of the plane drone i couldnt believe it. Its still fairly new but the battery life is also great!

Great All Round Headphones at a Great Price

I got these a few weeks ago and genuinely love the sound. I use these for all different purposes. I listen to music and watch shows on my way in to work on the train and these drown out the background noise extremely well. So much so that i've been close to missing my stop as I was immersed in my own world. The bass is very deep for a pair of headphones and clarity is top notch. Conversations can be heard crisply, without the need to turn up the volume. Secondly i've been using these as my default Teams Video and Audio Call device. Again the sound is very crisp at my end and drowns out any conversations going on around me. I've not been at the receiving end of the microphone but i've not had any complaints from others so would assume this is working well. The design is very lightweight i can wear them for an hour without feeling i need a break. They can be folded easily with the hinges and fit snugly in my bag. Battery life has been excellent so far and have only needed to charge them once. They have lasted 3 weeks before a charge was required. Finally its worth downloading the app to adjust some settings such as syncing video and making and customisations suit your needs. The app is easy to use and havent had an issue so far. All in all I doubt you will get any better headphones at this price point.

Good product

Really amazing quality. Been blown away by the noise cancelling. But the key feature for me is ability to connect simultaneously to couple devices and switch between them when it’s needed. This is a game changer and having came across something like that in other devices. Really like the volume levels and ability to pick up the speech in the microphone. There are however a few things to consider with the first one is that they did not come with a charging cable. And a second is that the microphone is position only in one earpiece and you have to make sure that they facing the right direction where you want to use it with the microphone otherwise you cannot be heard. So really great device and highly recommended.

All-Day Comfort, All-Day Bass

As someone who loves geeking out over audio gear, I usually obsess over the numbers. But with the JBL Tune 780NC, the day-to-day experience is what really won me over. These have quickly become my headphones for basically everything. When you put them on, the first thing you notice is the comfort, there is excellent padding around most of the head band. In terms of sound, they have that classic, punchy JBL bass, but it never gets muddy or overpowering. It just makes listening genuinely fun, whether you're relaxing or needing an upbeat soundtrack to get things done. The noise cancellation is a good. Whether I'm trying to focus in a loud environment or just want to tune out the low rumble of a commute, it creates a wonderfully quiet bubble. It occasionally lets really sharp, sudden noises slip through which is the only reason I'm holding back that last star, but overall, it lets you easily get lost in your music. What truly surprised me, though, is how effortless they are to live with. I can seamlessly jump from watching a video on my laptop to taking a call on my phone without fiddling with any settings. And the battery life is amazing, I can go weeks without even thinking about finding a charger. They are incredibly lightweight and fold up perfectly to toss in a bag. While the plastic finish doesn't scream "premium," the sheer comfort and fuss-free reliability make the 780NC a brilliant daily driver.

Great comfort and battery but fiddly button layout

After a month of daily use, I'm really pleased with these headphones. I mainly use them for family video editing on my iPad, and they excel in the areas that matter most: comfort and battery life. They are light enough to wear for hours, and the battery seems to last forever. The JBL app is also a great feature for tweaking the sound. My only real complaint is the layout of the physical buttons on the earcup. The design and placement aren't very intuitive, so I constantly find myself just using my phone or iPad to change the volume or settings rather than messing with the buttons. If you don't mind controlling things from your device, these are a fantastic buy.

Amazing

My daughter and I both use these headphones and we have been really impressed with them. My daughter is autistic and struggles with loud environments, so the noise cancelling has been amazing for helping block out background noise when we are out and about They help her stay calmer and more comfortable without shutting everything out completely. The sound quality is very good, and one of the biggest improvements compared to our last headphones is that there’s barely any sound leakage. With our old pair, we could hear the music or whatever was playing from across the room, but these keep the sound contained much better which is great in public. We both also use them for calls and video chats and the microphones are surprisingly clear, even when there’s noise around us. They connect quickly to our devices, the battery lasts for days between charges and they are lightweight enough to wear for long periods without becoming uncomfortable. The foldable design is also great because they fit easily into a bag when we are travelling or in my gym bag These have been a really good purchase for both of us and especially helpful for my daughter because of how well they reduce outside noise but still sound good.
