Purchased a couple of weeks ago and returned following day. Was easy enough to put together Cleaned up the 2 to 3 meters of carpet i got to do well, before it stopped running and the handle started buzzing and vibrating got hot and smelt like hot electrics tripped the main fuse box in house so we returned it. Purchased a different brand from elsewhere that on using the following day got more dirt up from same area done previous day with this one. Not an overly dirty carpet as only been down 18mths

Bought this a few weeks ago, and all good so far. Carpets cleaned well, but left slightly damper than I was expecting. Also, quite noisy when switched on. As not using every day noise not a concern.

In order to keep your unit functioning properly and to prevent any odours building up, it is best to rinse out your dirty water tank with fresh water after each use.

If using the on-board wash tool with the Vax Dual Power Pet Advance Upright Carpet Cleaner, this is suitable for cleaning upholstery, especially as a spot cleaner. You have to be more careful with mattresses, especially those containing memory foam as the foam may absorb excess moisture and be difficult to dry.
