Customers Say
Dyson HushJet Mini Cool fan is powerful, compact, and stylish with good airflow and useful accessories. However, it is noisier than expected, has limited battery life, and the neck strap design and shape receive mixed feedback.

Great fan, neck cord great for a man
Great little fan, shame the neck cord was built for men, the cord is too long (even at its shortest) which means anyone without a flat chest has the fan hanging under so no air reaches your face.

Small but powerful fan
This small but powerful fan has been a godsend during recent heatwave, not cheap but highly effective in cooling one down day and night, so glad I purchased it.

Loud, and undecided if it’s worth the price
Much louder than I realised it would be, a high pitched whine, much like an overheating laptop fan. The neck strap/lanyard ring slips around the fan unit easily, but you must align the small notch cut out with the control buttons or it gets snagged. The lanyard, while nicely made, is frustratingly not able to be changed out for one of your choice, as the neck strap cord is built in to the ring, so if it gets damaged you’ll be buying a new Dyson one, not simply connecting one of the various lanyards you already have cluttering up your junk drawer. Much like other reviews have pointed out, it does have the look of an ‘adult toy’, so prepare yourself for some strange looks when taking it out of its soft carry pouch (which only adds to the look of something that might be delivered in a ‘discreet brown paper package’)

Enviously cool
Bought this a few weeks ago in the May heatwave and I found it amazing . Day out at zoo in the heat but I had cold air blowing up in my face , my hair was blowing and I felt cool and refreshed the boost mode gives you the extra blast and the battery lasted the whole day out I love it love it love it looking forward to the next heatwave now I have this

Don't
It's garbage, the word cool is misleading at the very best. Does no cooling what so ever only blows air. Will be returning.

Missing the hush!
HushJet it is not as it has a high pitched noise when the speed is higher than one. It’s actually notably noisy which is a shame as it’s a powerful little fan and has received compliments. That is until it is turned on. Such a shame I gave it to my mum as she is in hospital otherwise I would have returned.

Noisy
Would not call it "Hush" for a small personal fan it is very noisy!

Mixed reviews but overall would recommend
Bought got my trip around Europe. Several choices of speed but did get moody the higher you go. However does what it says on the can and is efficient. Unfortunately my friends thought it hilarious as looks very phallic. S little heavy to carry round

Hello Stewie,
The Dyson Hush Jet Mini Cool fan is bladeless and battery-powered, producing minimal electromagnetic interference.
It is generally safe to wear around the neck, but patients with pacemakers or ICDs should consult their cardiologist and avoid prolonged direct contact over the device.
Position the fan at least several centimetres below the device implant site (front chest for pacemakers, upper chest for ICDs).
Thank you for using Q&A.
