I purchased this brush as a gift for my Wife. My Wife is absolutely delighted with it and states that it is gentle with a nice bristle effect on the head and hair and the fact that it prevents her hair frizzing was a bonus. It heats up rapidly and cools fairly quickly, the ions work brilliantly and the ease of styling with it was simple. Overall a good purchase at a very fair price, my Wife highly recommended it.

Great hot brush for rushed mums on a budget
I bought this straightening hot brush a couple of weeks back and I'm loving it. I originally wanted the more popular, more expensive branded hot brush but couldn't afford the price tag that came with it. I have not been disappointed with this. The different temperatures make it great for many hair. I have very thick curly hair which I prefer to straighten and the hot brush transforms it, smooth and frizz-free. Having two young children I find it's much easier to tidy the 'birds nest' with the hot brush when in a hurry.

It's possible but depends on the length of the short hair as the heating elements aren't right at the end to avoid scalp burn.

If you have a longer layer, this would be ideal for that, but 1 inch may be a bit short to fully benefit from the straightening results.''

"To clean your Progloss Deepform hot brush, please switch the appliance off, unplug from the mains and allow to cool fully before cleaning. When the heated brush is completely cool remove any loose hairs from the bristles after every use and make sure there is no product build up on the ceramic barrel or bristles. Wipe over all surfaces using a soft damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners."

The Revamp Progloss Deepform Ceramic Straightening Hot Brush is 220-240 voltage. The voltage in the USA is 120V. As the hot brush is not dual voltage, it will not be suitable to use in the USA. You would need to use a voltage transformer or converter to allow the appliance to work safely and properly.
