Great purchase although a little large

JBL Tune 780, I have recently purchased these as an alternative to JBL Live Beam 3 ‘in-ear’ head phones. So far these have been a great addition, I note some reviews have criticised the bass depth but I have found the sound to be superb and have used for a variety of uses including music and film. I have also used for work connecting to laptop for Teams calls, the microphone is perfect and there were no issues being heard. The APP provides a good base to adjust controls and I have 2 JBL products saved, the headphones also allow multiple connections so I have been able to connect to the phone and laptop, they seem to switch automatically as required (Teams call, switches to headphones and paused music from my phone). The only disadvantage is the size, these are quite large and I have chosen to purchase a case to prevent damage, I find them comfortable but do think I look a little like I am about to DJ in a club! I would absolutely recommend and have been very happy with the purchase so far!!

Great for an average user.

These are my first headphones as I was always afraid they are not comfortable to wear. These are not bad, I tested them for 4 hours straight and I could possibly do it even longer. They are easy to use, the app is ok but not necessary if you just want to listen to something when doing chores. The sound seems good but I’m not an audiophile and only really listen to audiobooks so it good enough for me. Battery is great, lasts few days/ 2 full audiobooks. So if anyone is after a simple, comfortable and decent price this is it.

Good sound quality

A good set of headphones, that charge quickly and keep their charge. I have been using these for a few weeks now. They are very easy to set up and use. I set them up on my computer and phone. The buttons are a little hard to see, with them being black n black, but i only use on / off really. They are comfortable on my head / ears ... but i get a little warm, especially with this heatwave in the UK. The noise cancelling is excellent, it feels like you are in your own box when you turn it on. The quality of the audio is good for online meetings and videos. The mic is clear. Overall, i do like these, just hot on my ears!

ON THE GO HEADPHONES

I was looking for a travelling headphones something I could use only for travelling. I ended up using it at home too is a great device. The two only things that are not great its on close places is difficult to connect keeps cutting in and out and it came with no charging cable but I charge it with my Samsung mobile charger fine. Volumes and soundstage its perfect and if you add the voice ambient blocked fantastic how you can listen the bass in every instrument loud and clear, did I mention , I love it? Well I do Jeje. Tight enough can adjust to your convenient sizes. Can be controlled with the app just fine or manually. The texture its soft. Overall is a great device easy to use and comfortable and easy to storage as it folds easy and small to fit in a handbag or any other place. My child has also tried and for her taste she prefers smaller ear pads overall she loves it I will buy a smaller version for me as my child is using it.

Good sound, comfortable and amazing battery life

I had to invest in these JBL Tune 780 NC headphones after my daughter “borrowed” my previous JBL headphones when she went to university. I love that these headphones feel solid but are still light weight. They feel so comfortable when you wear then and they don’t hurt my ears after wearing them for a few hours. The sound quality is amazing, and the adaptive noise cancelation works well, especially on a plane. I did have to adjust the sound using the app to my personal preference, but this was easy as the app is very intuitive. The sound quality on calls is also really good, and callers have mentioned that they could not hear any background noise. One of the biggest plus points is the battery last forever, and if you accidentally forget to charge it you can do a quick 5-minute charge to get about 5 hours’ worth of usage. I do find the buttons are a little close to together for my fingers, but I have got used to this over time. Overall they are a solid set of headphone’s with great sound quality.

Great product.

I tried this for the first time I was looking for earphones that were better suited for my needs. They were comfortable to wear but will say my ears did over het abit during hot weather. I was able to hear when someone was talking to me even though they blocked out some of the sounds around while I was using them. I could listen to my music and listen to the movies I was watching without disturbances from around me. It was so easy to connect to my iPhone or even my iPad no issues found. The sound was clear and I could really hear it even when on a low volume setting. I would highly recommend these for those who like to listen to music on the go and hear less reduced sound around them but also can still hear the main things around them for safety.

Surpassed my expectations

The 780NC's have consistent clear sound and vocals through various genres, excellent deep authentic sounding bass, large soundscape. I can make out individual instruments. A great music listening experience. I was surprised by how good the noise cancelling is, it cuts out almost all background noise and I can barely hear myself typing on a keyboard. It's like my own space of peace inside my headphones away from the noise. I have a relatively loud air purifier and I'm not able to hear it at all with ANC turned on. Connectivity to my pc was simple. I turned the headphones on and I got a pop up on my PC saying "connect" it was as easy as clicking one button. Clear audio for phone calls. Great volume. I can turn it up high with no distortion and you don't feel like its hurting your ears. Charging is simple and fast with USBC. The fact that the headphones have a mic is great and very convenient. Comfy padding and fit well on my head. I can honestly forget I'm wearing them they are so comfy and stay secure on the head. The 780NC's have surpassed my expectations in almost every way, especially for the price. Highly recommend!

Impressed by the fit and sound quality

I have used multiple Bluetooth headphones in last couple of years and wanted to try out these new ones from JBL as I have used their speakers and I really like the sound quality. First thing I noticed as soon as I opened these was that they are really lightweight compared to others I have used in the past. However, after trying these on i found these to fit a lot tighter to my head. I am a tall guy with above average sized head and normal hair volume. The foam covering at the top of the band feels quite comfortable. The headphones stay in place even while walking and they didnt squeeze my ears. The sound is really good quality as I have seen with other JBL products and on par with high end headphones as well. The music is very clear and crisp with a good bass. I could listen to my music without outside noise during my commute to office. The noise-cancellation was good and works quite well even when I try to take office calls when Iam outdoors. Battery life is quite long and a quick charge that does not take too long. And connectivity very easy including an app download which has a lot of customisation as well as different modes which are well tuned for different types of media. The buttons are well built and easy to locate on the headphones. The only major issue I noticed was rhe lack of charging cable and including a flimsy bag instead of a case. Overall, I am really impressed by the fit and sound quality of these headphones and would highly recommend.

Everyday use

These are good headphones for everyday use, they stay on very tight which is positive when walking or working out. The design is great and foldable which is handy. The noise cancelling could be improved as not much difference with the ambient. Overall positive performance
