Customers Say
The air cooler offers better airflow and cooler air than a standard fan, especially with ice packs, but it doesn't cool entire rooms effectively and can be noisy on high settings.

Not worth the hassle.
This cooler is quite tiny. To use the water cooling is cumbersome as you have to either pour water into the top chamber which then trickles to the water tank at the bottom of the cooler or you have to disconnect the top half of the cooler and then pour water directly into the tank. If you want to use the ice packs, then you have no option but to disconnect the top half of the cooler and put the ice packs into the bottom tank, which is a lot of faff. Also inspite of doing all of that the overall temperature of the room will only drop by 1 or 2 degrees max, so hardly worth the effort.

Its okay like a glorified fan even with the ice cold water and the blocks they give it isnt ice cold

Its ok, does not cool the room
Its ok as a fan, does not cool the whole room. You need to be directly in the line of air flow to feel any benefit.

It’s better than a normal fan- just
Had this air cooler for nearly a month, my main point is that it’s better than a normal fan when using the ice packs but nowhere near the coolness of proper AC. My 2nd point is it’s a great white noise machine to drown out my husband’s snoring.

Great Price and Cool enough!
I brought this last month during the June heatwave and the first few days I thought it was not worth it, however after using for a month I can say it is very effective for cooling down my lounge. I have found if I use tap water that has been in the fridge over night along with the ice packs it blows nice cool air on the extremely hot days. I use it with my windows open as it is also a humidifier therefore will create excess moisture in the air however this has not been a problem with the windows open. I also like the oscillating function as spreads the cool air nicely in my direction. It’s very cheap in comparison to air conditioning and obviously not as cold as air con however, it is much better than the standard circle fan I was using. I took a star away for noise as when on the highest fan setting it is quite loud.

You have to buy!
I love this product! So many horror stories of similar products you can buy on another well know site beginning with ‘A’, this is so easy to use and extremely effective especiallly when you add ice blocks.

Hi! When you lift up the top part to put the water in, look at the bottom of it. Theres a black pump connected to blue pipe. Theres a little black thing you spin which will let the pump drop to the bottom of the water resevoir. It wont work correctly otherwise.
Press the snowflake icon , also you do need to remove the pump from the bottom. The short blue hose isnt the pump its the other one that is on the bottom.
Im experiencing the same issue even with water pump submerged into the tank, not sure if u have to keep it powered for several hours to notice it or the pump is faulty?

Hello there,
A full tank on the Bush 6.5L Vortex Blade Air Cooler will typically last between 6 and 10 hours of continuous operation when using the water-cooling evaporative mode.
Thank you for using Q&A.
No, evaporation air cooler
no, it is an air cooler and only slightly chills the air compared to an air con unit that will cool the air far more and require venting to outside
Because it thinks it is R2D2....
Bit of a design flaw...
You need to drop the pump to the water
The small print
