It's built with a dark oak-effect top and black legs, offering sturdy support for family meals. You can tell in the comments who read the instructions and bought a rubber mallet and who didnt. You NEED a rubber mallet to be able to line the fixing holes up. This is a fantastic little set. Took me less than 10 mins to build on my own, is lightweight, lovely colour pallet, the benches aren’t heavy or unstable, I needed it for a small space in my kitchen and it fits perfectly 👍

My 9,7,5 year old sit at this table using both benches. You could get all 3 children on one bench but mine like space.
If we all 5 of us sit at it we add a fold up chair to the end of the table or both ends for extra room.
