Great divan with good storage
Excellent bed, bought in the Red sale, so a great price too. I bought the four drawer option, so plenty of storage. Headboard is decent. Very sturdy base. Bought a new mattress separately, and the combination is very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Good bed
Bed is fine and was easy for two of us to put together. The big problem was the two plastic clips to be used to join the two halves. They were VERY difficult to fit over the two halves and when I finally got one on it snapped! Have sourced four metal ones for £3 which went on so easy and are so much more substantial.

Quality made divan base
Sturdy good quality divan base. Well packaged anddelivered to the bedroom by Argos. Easy enough to put together as ive dome these before, but if you didnt know how to fix the 2 pieces together, you'd be confused as there were no instructions with it. Quite difficult to get the metal fixings to join them and definitely a 2 person job. Would have preferred metal feet rather than wooden legs as its difficult to move the bed on a deeper pile bedroom carpet. But happy with the bed & matching headboard.

Stinks
The bed absolutely stinks of a chemical irritating smell that I thought would go away but it has only gotten worse and accumulated in the bedroom making it harder and harder to sleep and sneeze. I should have expected this from Argos junk.

Please see the below instructions for attaching the legs and feet on the Toulouse Kingsize 2 Drawer Divan Set - Grey:
To affix legs, screw bolts into the threaded holes marked ‘pierce here for fittings’.
For the feet:
To affix, screw the bolt into hole 1. Then screw the screw into hole 2. Make sure both screws have been fastened securely. Repeat on all 4 corners. Next screw the black glides into the remaining four holes in the divan base - two on each side.
