Apologies for any confusion, I can confirm that the cover commences from the date of purchase and NOT when the manufacturers warranty period ends.

You can purchase Breakdown Care up to 45 days following the original purchase of the laptop and it will cover you for accidental damage as well as faulty components in the laptop itself. The 2 years is operational from the date of purchase. They will always attempt repair however if the cost of repair is too excessive or does not work then you would be offered a new replacement.

This care product is for items purchased from Argos only, not items bought elsewhere. Also the care needs to be bought within 45 days of the original Argos purchase date or at the same time as purchase.
