Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 (512 GB) is a fast, reliable flagship with plenty of storage and a smooth everyday experience. It handles apps, gaming, and multitasking effortlessly, and the compact design makes it comfortable to use. The camera is good, especially in daylight, but not class-leading. Battery life easily lasts a full day, and Galaxy AI features are useful, though still not perfect.

Not impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I think my expectations were too high. Even though I did a spec comparison before purchase between my current S23 FE and the S26, knowing my current phone is larger, heavier and obviously older, I was still underwhelmed. I only tried the phone for a few days before deciding to return it, ultimately because I prefer the bigger screen and heavier feel, and didn't notice much difference other than that! I've seen a lot of mixed reviews online about this phone, too... just depends what you're comparing it to, I suppose. Hopefully Samsung bring out an S26 FE, with better cameras, battery and a bigger screen. The S26 flagship phone just felt too small, too weak, too basic for me. I'd recommend seeing, feeling and testing the phone in store before committing to the purchase. For someone who works primarily from their phone, the S26 was not a perfict fit.

Beyond expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Galaxy S26 is very light and easy to be held with one hand. This phone delivers exactly what expected, the screen is very fast responsive, all the apps run smooth. My favourite part of the new Samsung Galaxy S26 is the Creative Studio app. I already started using it with my little daughter and we have a lot of fun together watching our creations. Whenever I upgrade my phone, it's usually for a better camera and increased storage, as I take millions of pictures and videos. Samsung Galaxy S26 did not disappoint, it has a much clearer image and the improved night vision is a huge bonus, with brighter pictures in low light, even on selfie mode. The audio eraser is of great help whenever I edit videos. The live effect that transforms pictures in 3D images is great as well. I have also noticed there is an option to keep the personal photos private, so they don't appear in the gallery. I like the Now Brief function, it's like having a personal assistant in the morning briefing you about the day ahead. At the same time, all the AI assist functions: writing, transcription, translating, summarizing, editing and removing/adding things from/to pictures are all like an upgraded assistant that is available 24/7. I will definitely have to try the AI feature that can tell you who's calling and why before answering, especially because of spam callers. I think I will still have to discover new things about the new Samsung Galaxy S26, but so far I am well impressed with its performance and it definitely makes my life easier with all the daily tasks.

Definite improvement on previous models
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my S26 for a few weeks now and have been suitably impressed with the improvements that have been made since my last model, an S24. I often take photos on my phone and although I didn't choose to get the ultra with it's super impressive photo improvements. I opted for the s26 mainly due to size as I didn't want a noticeably larger phone. I have found the phone capable of taking some great photos particularly green colours in nature. The low level light photos on Samsung phones has always been good but this seems to be improved too. There are many new AI features including the use of Gemini to ask questions by looping around parts of a photo/Web page. This feature is particularly useful if you want a quick answer to something. Overall I have found this phone to be a great improvement on my previous model and have enjoyed using it. My only gripe with it is when editing my photos I used to love the lasso edit remove option which is now gone and it is a greater AI influence on editing you can just remove say, one person yourself. It is then watermarked as an AI photo despite not a lot changing in the picture. That is a tad annoying. I would definitely recommend an S26 to friends and the larger storage space is a big plus too. I felt like I was always nearing closer to running out of space with my S24. So if you are using an earlier Samsung model and considering the S26 I would say go for it, I don't think you would regret it!

Nice upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from Samsung S22 to Samsung S26 and I am very happy with this phone. The biggest improvement is the battery life, which is much better than S22 and easily lasts a full day. The camera is also better. Pictures have more detail, better colours and look more natural, especially in low light. For everyday photos it works very well. The phone is slightly bigger than S22 but this makes it more comfortable to hold. It fits nicely in the hand and feels solid and easy to use. The sound quality is very good. The speakers are loud and clear, great for music and videos. Call quality is also very clear. The phone is fast and smooth, apps open quickly and everything works without problems. The screen is bright and colours look very nice. Overall this is a very good upgrade from S22. Better battery, better camera, good sound and fast performance. I definitely recommend it.

Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 is a strong small flagship with fast performance, a great display, good cameras, and long software support, but it also feels a bit safe and more expensive than before. I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did.

Great phone…. but small on upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve upgraded to the S26 from the S25 and while it’s still a great phone, if I were to be honest, there’s limited difference in the features. That’s not to say that there’s not a lot of positives. Although the size is slightly bigger it’s still easy to handle and the cobalt violet colour is great. The processor is fast and although the camera is essentially the same as the S25, I was pleasantly surprised there were subtle changes such as now being able choose between a natural or warm tone for pictures, which does seem to make a difference. I haven’t noticed any significant change in battery life so far but I suspect that’ll more come if I’m away on holiday and using it more - it comfortably lasts a couple of days though. It’s unfortunate that new features such as the privacy display were all given to the ultra as that would have been more game changing. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone apart from those who already the S25.

Brilliant phone for every day use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have finally stopped trying to keep up with the "bigger is better" crowd, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 is the reason why. After years of struggling with phones that felt like carrying a small tablet in my pocket, switching to this 6.3-inch model has been a breath of fresh air. While my friends are fumbling with their massive phones, I can comfortably navigate my entire day with one hand. It fits perfectly into my jacket pocket without weighing me down, and the flatter edges make it much easier to grip during my morning walks. The display is remarkably crisp, and because the screen is slightly smaller than its siblings, the text actually feels sharper to my eyes. I no longer feel like I am performing a thumb-stretching exercise just to reach the notification bar, which has made my daily digital life feel significantly less like a chore and more like the helpful tool it’s supposed to be. The usability of this device has truly simplified my routine, especially with the refined "Easy Mode" and the new AI features that don't feel like they require a computer science degree to operate. I spend a lot of time organizing family events and keeping track of my gardening schedule, and the S26 handles it all with a snappiness that never leaves me waiting. The battery life has been a pleasant surprise as well; even with a day full of checking maps, answering emails, and streaming the occasional podcast, it reliably lasts until I head to bed. Samsung has clearly thought about users who want high-end performance without the physical bulk. The interface is intuitive, the buttons are exactly where my fingers expect them to be, and the face recognition works instantly, even if I’m wearing my reading glasses. It is a sophisticated piece of technology that respects the fact that I want power, but I also want a phone that is practical for someone who isn't interested in a device the size of a brick. As the family historian, the camera was my biggest concern, but the 50MP main lens has exceeded every expectation. During my a recent birthday party, I was able to capture the moment he blew out his candles with stunning clarity, even in a room lit only by the cake. The colours are natural rather than overly bright, and the zoom allowed me to get a great shot of his expression from across the table without having to hover over him. What I appreciate most is the "Photo Assist" feature; if a stray napkin or a blurry hand ruins a perfect shot, the AI helps me tidy. Thumbs up.
