Great vacuum
Bought this item not long ago and cannot believe how well it works. The no go zones have been so useful for when he have had items moved from rooms. The shark navigates throughout the house brilliantly. I doubted the suction but when it self emptied and I checked there was so much dirt I was shocked!

Life changing product for those with pets!
What an absolute game changer! I've wanted a robot vaccuum for the longest time, as we have 2 kids and 2 heavy shedding dogs (labrador and golden retriever). Having vinyl flooring throughout hallway, kitchen diner and utility room means every single dog hair can be seen, and tends to ball up and blow around like tumbleweed! Before we got Baby Shark (yes, you can name them on the app), I was vaccuuming up to twice daily to keep on top of it, with our trusty Shark vaccuum. Since getting this little guy, I only need to vaccum once a week! It's honestly been life changing to keep on top of dog hair and light dirt as I can't relax if I can see visible hair / dirt. The big Shark comes out for the deeper cleaning much less frequently now, saving me hours of manual cleaning - essential with such a busy household! It did take a while to map out the downstairs and you can only map out one floor at a time, but it's mastered the mapping of downstairs now (few weeks in). I like that I can control it from the app, and set a schedule for routine cleaning. When I want it to run around the 1st floor, I have to bring it up and just press the Go button. As it can't map out 2 floors, it just goes on a random journey. Also ok for carpets, but definitely better for hardfloor. It has disconnected from wifi on 2 occasions so far and been a faff to get it back on, but I would purchase again....in fact, not sure I could ever be without it now!

Review for those on the fence about buying this
I bought this about a month ago and don’t normally comment but thought this might be useful information for someone who is considering buying it. First and foremost, I love it! It’s like a cute little bug wandering around eating dust in the room (considering painting a ladybug pattern on it). It has 3 cleaning modes, normal mode has a pretty good suction and it does a great job at cleaning. It also has a matrix mode where you can direct it to a certain spot for a quick and tough clean. Be careful with certain objects though cause if it’s low enough (like a 2cm high leg from your chair or something) it will try its hardest to go over it then begs for me to come save it from its self made prison. The self cleaning tank it comes with is also pretty great and very handy for easy emptying. The box says that the doc is not good on carpeted flooring but I don’t have a suitable place for it. Decided to bite the bullet anyway and luckily it’s never struggled to insert itself back into its doc so you should be okay. Overall a fun purchase that is both useful and gives me plenty more time to get on with other household chores!

Ronnie Robot
Well wish I bought one of these years ago its brilliant The instructions were easy to follow. You can program him to come out a certain time of day Or even clean a room on its own goes around obstacles I’ve got two dogs and they don’t mind it at all. It even cleans all the edges and corners with the little brush attachment. It is quite quiet except when it empties but otherwise I would highly recommend .

Yes, the Shark Navigator Robot Vacuum + Self-Empty Base offers both automatic and manual control. Use the app for Vacuum + Mop mode to clean carpets then hard floors, or select DRY or WET on the robot to run each function separately.
Yes, you can use the robot without a smartphone by starting a clean directly from the unit itself. The app is optional and unlocks extra features like scheduling, room selection and voice control with Alexa or Google Assistant.
Yes, the Shark Navigator Robot can be used on carpets, but it’s best suited to low to medium pile. Performance may be limited on thicker carpets or rugs. For best results, use it mainly on shorter pile surfaces and hard floors.
The mapping feature of the application can only handle one floor at a time. It is not compatible with use across multiple floors simultaneously. For example, if you move the robot upstairs and attempt to use the application, the existing map must be deleted and a new one created in order to control the robot through the app. However, the robot can still be controlled without the app by using the buttons located on the top of the robot vacuum.
