Great For Outdoor Areas
I got this item as I had just changed my garden, and I’m so glad I did, you can change the Lightstrip into so many colours and different levels of brightness to set the mood at the ease of your mobile phone. If you get a few other Philips Hue outdoor products you can really make a feature from all the different light settings

Great lights for outdoors
The outdoor lights by Philips in the Hue range are very good. The outdoor light strip cannot be extended unfortunately, but you can extend the power lead to the lights. You need the Hue bridge for them to work properly and then you can run automation, use accessories like sensors and more!

Works great
We recently bought this light for our garden, as we were making lots of trips to and from the garage now that there's an office in there. This light makes the garden much easier to navigate in the dark! We've also been messing around with programming it so we can know when the garage door sensors aren't closed before we go to bed.

Previous answer from the person is wrong - you cant cut the outdoor strips to size or extend them.

Included in the box is the 80-inch Lightstrip Plus, and a power adapter setupto plug into the mains. What's not included in the box is the required Philips Hue Bridge. You'll need a Bridge in order to control the lights if you haven't got one already.

Plug to transformer is approximately 1.8m. Then there’s a cable that comes off the transformer which is approximately 2m which connects to the LED light strip.
