Blows all other monitors out of the water
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely obsessed with this monitor. With industry highest pixel density of 166 ppi and a 240Hz refresh rate, it absolutely blows all other monitors out of the water. The display is vivid and crisp, it has great colour contrast and a wide colour palette - the clarity on the colours is fantastic. Performance wise, there was a visible difference between this monitor (240Hz) and my previous monitor (144Hz) which was really impressive. It was really easy to set up, and I personally like the heavier weight of the stand as it feels super secure in both landscape and portrait mode. When switching between the two modes the screen is smooth to rotate and adjust too. The monitor has a lovely profile and visually it’s very striking. The silver looks really nice and feels high grade and professional. The base plate is quite wide - this was something I liked but worth being aware of if you’re short on desk space. There are plenty of ports too, and I enjoy the fact the power button is a toggle that also functions as access to the menu and quick access to volume etc. It was also a huge plus that this comes with both an HDMI cable and a DP cable (and has a handy cable tidy on the back of the stand) Finally, one of my favourite features is the infinity core lighting! Took me a while to find it in the settings menu, but once I did I fell in love! There are loads of options for customisation, and also the option for Lighting Sync. It really just adds that finishing touch to make this monitor super special.

Great monitor for gaming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a mid-range high refresh rate IPS panel to this OLED panel has made an astonishing difference to my experience in the best way possible. Remarkable refresh rate. The response times are so fast that I feel like I'm cheating. HDR, when enabled makes the monitor really bright and games look amazing. I play fast paced FPS games like COD and Apex Legends and this monitor fully delivers. The monitor is amazing absolutely pleased with it.

Samsung G8 27 inch 4k 240hz Oled
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing display with the newest generation OLED. It's 4k 240hz (Pretty much endgame). The quality and ergonomics are very good and much better than other brands in my opinion who tend to use plastic. This built to last With QDoled it's the best technology in my opinion. The colours just pop and Samsung knows how to calibrate it to a high standard. One thing I loved about setting this up is that there are zero screws or any need for installing. It just clicks into place and you turn the monitor arm. Hopefully the pictures show the full HDR capabilities, although I will say it looks even better in real life. Gaming is where this monitor shines, it's brightness is very good and I would say I wouldn't want it any brighter as it's a 27 inch monitor where you sit close to it. Any brighter would just cause you to have eye strain or headaches. One thing I would say that differentiates this monitor and the competitors is the Matte screen Vs Glossy. I used to be a glossy fan but Samsung just implemented the Matte screen excellently. The only downside I can see is that on a perfect white background it's got a slightly grainy texture. I would recommend this monitor as the new generational QDOLED looks amazing, there are so many different modes and settings you can configure. Although I would say this is cheaper than last year you do miss out on tizen os and also there is no included speakers. But I'm extremely happy with it and pixel density is amazing and i would highly recommend anyone to buy this.

Super cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung 27” Odyssey OLED G81SF, and wow—it’s seriously impressive. The screen looks amazing. The colors are super vibrant, and the blacks are really deep, which makes games and videos look incredible. It’s an OLED screen, so that’s a big upgrade from regular monitors. The 240Hz refresh rate and super fast response time make everything feel smooth, especially when I’m playing fast games like Valorant or Call of Duty. No lag, no weird motion blur—just super clean gameplay. It also looks cool. The design is sleek, and the lighting on the back adds a nice touch. The stand is sturdy and easy to adjust, so I can set it up just how I like. If I had to complain about anything, it’s that it doesn’t have HDMI 2.1, which might matter if you use a console. And like most OLEDs, it can get a bit warm. But honestly, I haven’t had any issues.

The G81SF is a truly amazing monitor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After around a month of testing, I am certain when I say that this monitor is one of supreme quality, well justifying the price. To start the review, I would like to cover the few small downsides of the monitor before mentioning the extreme highlights. For starters, whilst the matte/antiglare finish in the monitor is good for preventing reflections from appearing on the screen in high light levels, I find that in these light levels, the light is instead diffused across the entire monitor, making it appear as though it has a backlight-like base light level, which can at times take away from the surreal blacks that OLED brings. Additionally, the circular LED pattern on the rear of the monitor is not very visible, even when it is placed very near a wall. However, these only slightly take away from the fact that the monitor has the shear capability of 4k240 on an OLED panel. It looks beautiful in all light conditions, especially at night. It has deep blacks and high, bright colourful peaks. When compared with my 1440p144 IPS secondary interface, the difference is obvious. Additionally, the monitor provides amazing looking HDR, as I find some screens of cheaper quality tend to discard this optimal capability for something less impressive, just so that they can claim they are "HDR Compatible". The key takeaways from this monitor are that: it looks colourful and amazing; it is a monitor of the highest standard, which your GPU may even struggle to use it's full range of clarity it's that good; it is vastly better than most alternative monitors. Overall, this is a 9/10 product worth buying.

Really beautiful screen!

Was really nice to play Rocket league on! Also the bezel is incredibly small which makes you really lose yourself in the game without distraction. Nice to have a good selection of high quality cables too for connectivity.

OLED at its best
The OLED G8 is hands down the best monitor I’ve ever used. The picture quality is stunning — deep blacks, vibrant colours, and incredibly smooth gameplay at 240 Hz. It looks and feels premium, and the built-in smart features are a nice bonus for streaming or quick gaming sessions without powering up the PC. If you’re after top-tier visuals and performance, this monitor is absolutely worth it.
