Bought this to replace my very old HP printer that printed, scanned and copied great until it died of old age. New machine promises to do the same but I've birthed 3 children more quickly and easily than I set up this printer. So far I have printed and copied OK, but when I tried to scan I couldn't access my HP account to access that function. I didn't have to be on line to use all functions with my old HP. It's saving grace is that it was cheap!

When you sign up for Instant Ink, you choose which of the plans you want to go on with plans ranging from 10 pages per month to 700 pages per month. As you can change your chosen plan at any time, many customers choose the top 700 pages per month plan for their trial then decide whether to stay on this plan or switch to a lower plan once their free months have expired.
