Tommee Tippee Electric Baby Nail File

Good for every stage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s begin with the positives I found with this product, firstly I love the variety of attachment heads which can be used on hands and feet and the variety means that it can be used as the baby gets older and the nail texture changes. I love that it is gentle on the delicate baby skin around the nails and that it does the job well, my child actually sits well whilst having this done and it is much easier to use than traditional nail clippers. It has a good level of speed to do the job accurately and in a good amount of time and the product itself is extremely lightweight making it easy to be held and manoeuvre. The case is fantastic at keeping all the bits together, it’s easy to store and grab when needing quickly. However, although the product does the job in a good amount of time it is not as quick as using nail clippers. I also found that as it is filing the nails away it can be tricky to use with very soft nails as they bend during usage, it also doesn’t remove as much of the nails away requiring it to be used more regularly. With a very active baby I also found I needed to use clippers at times to remove dirt from underneath the nails. I would also have appreciated batteries being provided with this as I went to use it forgetting it required these. It also would have been handy if there was a text next to each attachment with a brief outline of what each one does as a quick way to refer back to when doing my child’s nails. All in all I found this product very useful and would recommend to other parents, especially for those early months when using clippers is an extremely daunting task.

Kids love it

Great for little fingers and big ones too!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product twice now on my 10 month old son and had great results. The LED light function is great for accurately filing his nails while he is sleeping(the nail file isn’t too loud either). I was worried that the nail file would be powerful and potentially damage his skin if I missed the nail but it is totally safe and gets the job done. It even comes with attachments for adult nails so have used it on myself too (love the buffing attachment, it’s great!). Requires two AA batteries for use.

A must for the kit bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’ve ever had to trim a baby’s nails you’ll know how detrimental a good eyesight, steady hands and a still baby are. We’ve all nipped, right?! When this little contraption came up to test I snapped up the chance. I have attached pics of before and after and I feel like the pictures speak for themselves. Incredible! For me it came 4 babies too late, but you don’t have to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tommee Tippee electric nail file is a fantastic tool that has become a go-to item for every nail care session with both my baby and toddler! Unlike nail clippers, this nail file is super safe and will keep your little ones wiggly fingers and toes nip free. It’s very quiet and has a very handy LED light so can even be done very quickly whilst little one is asleep. Each of the files is very gentle as well as this there are 3 adult options too! The travel case is also very handy for organisation and storage of all the components as well as to just throw in a bag on the go. It’s battery operated so you never have to worry about forgetting to charge it when you need it. The only factor I would say is a little down point is that there’s no clear labelling on the files to quickly identify which colour is for what age range, perhaps a little colour code and corresponding age to that colour on the product would be helpful. Overall a fantastic product which I can’t fault, and I’ll be using for a very long time to come! Highly recommended! 💅🩷

Stable in your essentials

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product, eases the worry of cutting your little ones fingers. Got two different speed settings. Easy and to use as L and R is all marked up on the device, and the instructions for the different type of filing pad are clear too. Has an extra added bonus of a light, so at night time you can still see what your doing. Comfortable to use and get into different positions.

Who needs nail scissors

Attractive but not as simple as it seems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product comes neatly in a nice travel case, which keeps everything nicely together, and looks appealing. It feels light, yet strong and stable and not like it will break quickly. The different files make it safe for all ages to be used on. It says it’s quiet, but I expected it to be quieter. I didn’t find it the easiest to use, it seemed a bit fiddly and didn’t work intuitively, but I will keep trying it and hopefully get the hang of it!

Keep them nails short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this electric nail file kit, comes with six filing heads and is very easy to use. Great for keeping your baby/kids nails short and smooth avoiding them scratching themselves. Battery operated and comes with simple instructions. I have always been nervous cutting my babies nails and this little tool made it so easy and also so gentle on your babies/children nails. Comes in a nice travel looking case too.

Perfect for newborn nails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really happy with the Tommee Tippee electric baby nail file trimmer. I was so nervous to use regular nail clippers on my 7 weeks old baby and it’s made things so much easier. It’s really gentle on baby nails and doesn’t hurt their skin if you accidentally catch their finger. It’s also quiet enough to use while the baby is asleep and the different file pads are great for newborn nails. I really appreciate the built in light for nighttime use. I didn’t think I’d need this but now I use it all the time. Would recommend to any new parent who’s equally nervous like me to trim baby nails!
