Works really well

First one didn't work - didn't find it's way back to the dock but Dreame arranged for collection and then refund. Second one works great - hoover works as good as dyson v10 when set to 2 cycles, app takes a bit of getting used to but is very customisable. Works much better than previous shark model. Not perfect - not quite as good as steam mop, doesn't quite get the edges and occasionally gets stuck on doorstop but really good overall and I don't think it's worth the difference in price for the more advanced models. Can set up multifloor and it figures out where it is, watch remotely.

In my opinion the Dreame L40 Ultra AE is a great product, The unit is heavy but when you think of all the technology built in you can understand why, On first impressions the device looks great even though you do need to find a permanent home for it and its not as if you can simply hang or stand it in your cupboard. The initial set up of the device was very straight forward with the quick start instructions, from filling the detergent and water tanks to downloading the app. The initial mapping took a little while, but what I found great was that it avoids all the object in the way including our constantly moving dog. The great thing is the mapping regularly updating so the device knows exactly where and where not to go. The app is a little tricky but after around 20-30 minutes it seemed easy enough to navigate around and use. The great thing about the app is the ability to control the device even when away. The combined vacuum and mopping facility is a game changer; the missus is over the moon as she can now put her feet up and watch the little robot do everything she used to and the only finger she’s lifting now is the one controlling the app. The scheduled cleaning setting is great, and it has been nice to come in from being out to find the floors have been vacuumed and mopped. The pet mode is great as the dog hair disappears in an instant. Overall, what can I say, ‘It’s a dream’, If it done the stairs as it would be perfect but give it time, I’m sure that’ll be available in the not to distant future.

I bought this around 1 month ago and it has been excellent, it has helped me in cleaning my house and it makes my wife very happy so that means everyone in the house is happy :)

Robot Househelp

Unboxing the vacuum cleaner was pretty easy with instructions + pictures on a card of how to put all the parts together! After mapping the Rooms through the App- it goes around to clean and once done, it goes to the docking station to self clean and empty the dust- so really efficient and smart! Mopping is Bonus as we have 3 cats in the house and constantly need to clean the floor so this is huge help with cleaning and mopping done effortlessly! The only thing was the mapping part and to get it to go around corners as well and once you figure that out, it works perfectly! It is a bit noisy but is a very powerful little machine! I would recommend the Dreame L40 for busy households as it does save lot of time and energy on everyday cleaning/mopping!

I’m genuinely thrilled with the Dreame L40 Ultra AE. Setup was straightforward, and once running it quickly mapped the home and confidently navigates around furniture and everyday obstacles. The suction is powerful and consistent, handling fine dust, crumbs, and general household debris with ease on both hard floors and carpets. Edge cleaning is also very effective, with the robot cleaning right up to skirting boards. The mopping function has been a real game changer. The hot water mop washing and self-cleaning base station mean very little hands-on upkeep, and the robot automatically returns to the dock to empty the dust and clean the mop pads before continuing. It feels like the floors are constantly being looked after without me needing to think about it. Battery life easily covers the whole home, and the app offers plenty of customisation, including room-by-room cleaning and adjustable power and mop settings. While there are lots of options at first, it quickly becomes easy to use and fits neatly into a busy routine. Overall this has made life noticeably easier in a busy household. Coming downstairs to clean floors without having had to do anything myself still feels like a luxury. It’s reliable, efficient, and has taken a big job off my plate!

Clever bit of kit!

Clever bit of kit, never have I ever desired a robot in any form but this....I love it! You need to make sure its charged up and then you let the robot map out your room, it doesn't take too long to know where it can and cannot go it even went under the dining room table and chairs! I would use this for a deep clean vacuum or floor wash throughout the house. It detects dirt- I presume through sensors- and vacuums up every spec. Once the job is done it returns itself to the docking station to recharge ready for the next job. The docking station itself looks quite bulky but I found a good space for it near to a plug socket.
