Great but pricey
Good so far, cooler than a normal fan, great app and features, hot is very hot and warms up quickly. Purifier seems great and oscillation is better than any others. Reason for 4 star is 8-10 speed is quite loud and it is expensive.

Save your money
Airflow capabilities are terrible. Nothing comes out until you’re on setting five of ten. Even on highest power it wouldn’t mess your hair up at 1 metre distance.

Does what it’s supposed to do
Easy to set up and control through the app. Design is great and it’s relatively silent - a bit less so if the fan is on max power. Not as effective as an aircon to cool the room but still does the job during hot days. All in all a good all rounder.

Delighted with a ver6 effective room cooler
Not checked the filter yet as it’s new. Quiet operation with good circulation of the air. It’s boiling hot outside and we are sitting here in a lovely cool room. Dog loves it too! No connectivity problems at all so far. Remember to take all the transparent packaging off before you try it. We couldn’t see it and wondered why it wasn’t working. Overall we love this appliance and would recommend it to anyone as an effective room cooler. Haven’t tried the heat for any length of time but it seemed very effective when tried.

Futuristic and efficent
Its quite in operation and is speed controlled so you can set the temperature to exactly what you need so no wasted energy. The filtration system seems efficient too. Only had the appliance for a few weeks so Its early days, the different style takes a while to get used to. The on off switch appears to be temperamental in operation, could be I am not keeping the button pressed for long enough. Will see how it performs in the months ahead.

Dyson improve mob app and reduce remote functions
New UI in App and it’s better than the other interface - I believe all mobile app should update. The Airflow, Heating/Cooling, etc. is better. The reason for the 4 not 5 star is the remote!! Dyson have removed the button for how long before turns off, so only controllable via app!! A backwards step. I also think it’s annoying that all remotes don’t universally across all devices!!

Superb!
Wow, wish I hadn’t waited so long before making my purchase. The convenience of hot and cold is excellent, it really heats up my living room very quickly. Would definitely recommend the hot+cool for clean filtered air and convenience.

Good and bad
I had thought it might be a good temporary replacement for central heating by oil. It does great job of hearing the room, but it’s very expensive to run. So it’s useful as a swift warming device but no more. Expensive to buy and not cheap to run.

Purification is only on when the unit is heating or cooling, you could set it to the same degree of the room it's in so it's filtering that way.
