Great powerful sound.

Don't think my neighbours are in love with my new sound box , but I am absolutely delighted. Crisp clear top end and the most fantastic bass you could wish for. Really impressed with it .the Bluetooth works a treat. Overall a great purchase

Great party speaker at a very competitive price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another great party speaker from Sony. Well packaged but you might need some help. It’s very heavy. At least it has built in wheels. Great sound quality even at high volume levels. Easy to set up and pair via Bluetooth. I used it at a wedding as guests were coming in and it got many compliments. The sound quality is surprisingly good. It’s not just all muscle, it is capable of delicacy and precision too. I didn’t test it with microphones but I wonder if used in a semi professional environment it might benefit from XLR inputs. Light effects are fine, if you like that kind of thing. Overall very good quality and excellent value for money.

Now that’s what I call a BOOM box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an incredible piece of kit. However, perhaps I might not be the intended market for this speaker because whilst it should be used for an all night rager of a party, I would prefer to use it for the surround sound or base speaker for the ultimate home cinema experience. However, you might convince me to use it for a karaoke party, but sadly no microphones as of yet. My Pro’s for the boombox: It’s a large piece of kit, it has a presence in room. It was easy to set up. It has a huge capability of being extremely loud. The simple display options on device are very easy to understand. There are different sound options for increased intensity using ULT settings Multiple types of connectivity to connect USB, Guitar, Fibre optic cable to attach to tv. Microphone holders, for the karaoke nights. And the Con’s: It’s a heavy machine, weighing in at 30KG. Although, this isn’t too bad as it has wheels if you want to move it around. This is a powered device, and no battery option. Also, accompanying this is a very short power cable, so it’s got to be near the plug. This is the same with the optic cable, it limits the distance of how far it can be away from the tv if you want to use it as a tv speaker. Overall, this speaker does what it says on the tin, it booms. If you want to be blown away, this certainly will do the job.
