Good product but 4G coverage makes it less useful
This is a pretty good product but is limited by the 4G connectivity in the area. I live very near a large city centre, however the 4G network is awful, with terrible download speeds. Unfortunately, whilst the product itself is good, it suffers from issues that it has no control over. If someone is going to buy this product, then they should check the 4G network in the area before purchasing.

Perfect
I bought this MIFI for camping and when in places where the phone signal is poor. It was easy to set up and connect and does the job I bought it for. It's also come in useful when my phone ran out of data. It's much cheaper than buying an add on from the phone company.

Hi Billyboy,
Whether the M7010 will work in Grenada depends on network band compatibility with the local mobile carriers in that area. Here's how to confirm compatibility:
1. Check local carrier bands: Have your friend check with their local ISP (mobile carrier) in Grenada to find out which network types (3G/4G LTE) and frequency bands are supported in their area.
2. Check M7010 specifications: Compare those bands against the M7010's supported bands
https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/mi...
3.If the bands supported by the M7010 match what the local carrier in Grenada uses, the device should work.
4. Data Roaming (if applicable): If your friend plans to use a SIM card from another country while in Grenada, they will need to enable Data Roaming on the device. Also, please ensure your SIM card has a relevant data plan.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Billyboy,
The TP-Link M7010 Unlocked LTE Cat4 4G Portable Travel Wi-Fi supports 4G FDD/TDD-LTE networks worldwide, so if you insert a local SIM from Grenada, it will work.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi,
The M7010 is a 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi device and requires a SIM card. You will need to confirm the SIM card plan with the SIM card provider.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Heather,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link M7010 Unlocked LTE Cat4 4G Portable Travel Wi-Fi: ''To determine if the M7010 is compatible with Turkish networks, you'll need to check the following:
Compatibility Check:
Please verify which network type and bands are supported by your SIM card provider in Turkey, then compare these with the specifications of the M7010 on the TP-Link official website to see if the network type and bands match.
Important Note:
The supported network type and bands are related to the device hardware and cannot be changed via firmware updates.
Additional Considerations:
• The M7010 does not come with a SIM card, so you'll need to purchase one from a Turkish mobile network provider
• The device uses a Micro SIM card slot (older models may come with adapters if needed)
• Make sure to confirm with Turkish ISPs that their 3G/4G bands are supported by the M7010's specifications
If the bands match, the device should work in Turkey with a compatible SIM card from a local provider.''
Thank you for using Q and A.

Hello Tecphobic,
TP-Link M7010 Unlocked LTE Cat4 4G Portable Travel Wi-Fi
It can be used to connect to the internet in the same way a home router would allow. However, this device is battery-operated, so would need recharging or to be kept plugged in during use. There's no guarantee that it will be as durable as a typical home setup either, as it is intended for use on-the-go.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hey Shelpips,
I can advise that this travel wi-fi comes provided with a micro USB cable, this can be plugged into a USB plug to charge the device.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
Yes, you could still connect to it and access internet when the Mobile Wi-Fi is charging, but it is recommended to disconnect it from the charger after it is fully charged to avoid overheating.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hey Addle,
I can advise that up to 10 devices can be connected at once.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
Sim card is usually not included in the package.
Thanks for using Q&A.
