Memory and large display numbers
This Blood Pressure Monitor is easy to use, although the arm strap can be a bit awkward to get in the right position. I Like the large numbers and the fact you can store up to 30 of your readings. At least now I don't have to go to the chemist or wait for GP to loan me a monitor.

OMRON M2 Blood Pressure Monitor
I got this for its ease of use for my Mum. She needs to monitor her blood pressure following a recent diagnosis of AF. This one was ideal as it is easy to fit the cuff and press start. The readings are clearly displayed.

Inaccurate readings
So far we have got a series of highly inaccurate readings. We have compared our readings with readings from the Clinic blood pressure machine and found differentials of 10 points in diastolic measurements. We cannot trust this Omron Machine and would not recommend it

I bought this as have to take BP every other day as just had heart surgery I must admit to having doubts about accuracy... but I'm proved wrong and so pleased I got it....it's brilliant and easy to use plus buying through Argos was easy and delivery reliable so pleased

you should not use an upper arm cuff from a different machine unless it is specifically compatible with the Omron M2 Essential.

The M2 monitor does have a mains input connection.
I use mine without batteries. Omron sell an optional extra mains plug for it. You can also purchase one from BHF for half the price of the one from Omron.
If Argos tell you its batteries only then they are wrong.
