Customers Say
The Ninja Swirl ice cream maker delivers creamy, customizable ice cream with many flavor options. It's easy to use and clean but requires 24-hour pre-freezing and is quite noisy during operation.

Looks great, but that's as good as it gets sadly..
Looks good in my kitchen, but I can't get on with it at all. I've tried several recipes and they all turn out rubbish. I'm either doing something seriously wrong, or it's genuinely rubbish. Better off buying ice cream. I regret buying this.

Disappointing
A bit disappointing overall. Much more of a hassle than the marketing suggests. It takes 24 hours to pre freeze your ice cream or frozen yogurt after preparation. We chose 4 tubs which take up a lot of room in your freezer. The machine is also very noisy while processing in readinesses for dispensing.

Absolutely amazing I love that I can make healthy, high-protein ice cream at home. The texture is perfect every time. It's much better than store-bought options. Great investment!

Ninja scoop and Swirl.
Bought this with birthday money, hoping to make fresh, healthier treats, and the occasional cheat day chocolate. So far the start on the healthier Mango sorbet has been spectacular. Blended then froze ingredients for the recommended 24hrs, then applied the sorbet scoop function. The honest opinion is this is quite a loud machine no doubt. But definitely manageable, and on the sorbet function it needed only three minutes. It needed a re-spin with just a touch of liquid, but this is entirely acknowledged and very quickly laid out in the handy start up guide. Texture is very convincing for a sorbet. Initial impressions on cleaning operation is a quick handwash is very easy. I've not yet tried the soft serve option, surely next on my list, but I will aim to soon and provide further feedback on that and the multitude of other options. I also have one of the outdoor grills and that's been a big hit too. A big fan so far of these products. When I can afford to I will certainly continue to look at Ninja products.

'You do ice cream really well'
I admit to being slightly sceptical, would we actually use it, was it really worth that and the answer is yes to both! The freezing process is simple and you just need to get in the habit of refilling each time then you always have something ready to go. All members of the family love it - the swirl ice-cream just feels so very special and luxurious that you get to do that at home. My only negative would be that I really want it the other way round - I'm right-handed but think I'd end up with a better swirl if it was my right-hand in charge of the cone and my left the lever. Last words from a friend of one of my children who was here for a sleepover the other weekend who as he was leaving said 'you do ice-cream really well' - compliment indeed

Healthy ice cream
After my husband had a heart attack he wanted a ice cream without the guilt. I had already started making banana and peanut butter ice cream with my ninja food processor. Now I make it and he gets soft serve and absolutely loves it. Healthy ice cream. I do make proper ice cream which taste amazing. Don't think about it just buy it

as an ice cream lover it's great
Results are really excellent tasting ice cream, if you use good ingredients - but it is a faff mixing it all up and having to check instruction booklet for each step, however I'm sure it will get easier the more I use it. Think the key is to make in batches (purchased 2 more tubs) so not wasting cream and getting the most out of it, I found mixing vanilla first then using same bowl for chocolate didn't need washing up in between. My freezer only fits the tubs in if I remove the draw so now have to store the draw somewhere. I eat ice cream year round every week so I will benefit from it. Seems well built.

The Ninja NC701UK is designed primarily for frozen desserts like ice cream, gelato, sorbet, frozen yoghurt, milkshakes, and soft‑serve, and it doesn't have a Smoothie option.
No, it doesn't have a refrigerator, and the mix has to stay in the freezer for 24 hours before use.
Depending on the bundle, the Ninja Swirl comes with 2 or 4 480ml tubes.
The Swirl's dimensions are as follows, Darren: H: 44.5cm x W: 38.5cm x D: 25.5cm.
Yes, the NC701UK can make ice cream with goat milk. The Swirl processes dairy and dairy alternative bases into ice cream or soft serve. Freeze the base in the Swirl pint for at least 24 hours, then run Ice Cream or Soft Serve. For best texture use a full fat base with added sugar as guided for similar dairy recipes.
Yes, you can make a coffee style frappe using the Milkshake program. For a quick version add scoops of coffee ice cream and milk to the Swirl Tub, then run Milkshake. The unit can also process a frozen coffee base after you freeze it in the tub for at least 24 hours, then run Milkshake to thin to a sippable texture. It is not a blender and cannot crush ice cubes or make smoothies from ice and liquid. For a classic iced coffee frappe with ice use a Ninja blender instead.
You supply your own mix-in ingredients, there’s no proprietary powder or cartridge. To use the Swirl by CREAMi NC701UK you must choose a liquid base (dairy or non-dairy milk, yogurt or even juice) plus sweetener and flavorings of your choice, then pour up to 480 ml of your mixture into one of the freezer tubs and freeze for 24 hours, lock the frozen pint into the machine, select your program and let the Creamerizer paddle spin it into soft serve or scoopable ice cream.
If you make more ice cream than needed, you can definitely store it in the freezer. However, since temperature can impact the consistency of the preparation, we recommend reprocessing it before attempting to use it.
With the Ninja Creami Swirl, it is possible to make 4 cones per tub.
By using the Ninja Creami swirl, you can achieve a higher quality soft serve ice cream, ensuring its visual appeal and being aware of every ingredient in it!
