About this product
If you need to nip to the stores, visit a friend, or just get out for a bit of fresh air without tiring yourself out, this lightweight scooter makes it easy. It folds down in seconds using a simple lever and lifts into most car boots - no dismantling, no hassle. The lithium-ion battery gives you a long travelling range on a full charge, and because the batteries are airline-friendly, you can take it further afield too. The seat and backrest cushions are extra padded and removable, providing comfort even on longer trips.
This is a Class 2 scooter suitable for pavements and pedestrian areas but not for road use. The adjustable front tiller and removable armrests let you set it up to suit you. The puncture-proof tyres and electro-magnetic braking system give you reliable stopping power and peace of mind. The scooter folds compactly for storage or travel and has a battery level indicator so you always know how much charge you have left. Speed and range vary depending on user weight, terrain, weather and driving conditions.

An Excellent Investment
Easy enough to assemble and use. As a manual fold it’s a bit stiff but nothing too horrendous. Makes for a comfortable ride. Will fit nicely into my daughter’s car so going out for the day is solved. Seems stable but range had not been tested but should be adequate for my needs

It can be reversed for things like manoeuvring/turning and has the relevant control to allow you to do so, but it is not designed to be reversed in the sense of actually using this control to just drive the scooter backwards.

Should not be used in heavy rain. The manufacturer's manual specifically advises against using the scooter in rain, ice, or snow, as exposure to moisture can damage the electrical components and pose a safety risk.

One battery is included in this model.
To charge the battery using the rear charging port:
Switch off the key ignition.
Open the charging socket cap and insert the charger’s round plug into the socket.
Plug the charger’s power cord into a mains outlet.
Switch on the mains socket.
Alternatively, the battery can be removed and charged using an optional charging base (item code: FLEXAC1).

The foot platform sits approximately 80 mm (8 cm) above the ground. This is based on the scooter’s mid-section ground clearance, which is the area directly beneath the footrest. The front and rear (anti-tip) areas have lower clearances of 25 mm (front) and 20 mm (anti-tip wheels) respectively.
