Great little kettle, looks nice, decent capacity, and being plastic may look better for longer than the stainless ones we normally buy. We live in a hard water area, so buying expensive kettles is pointless, expensive and cheaper ones last an equally short period of time! The one small niggle about it is that the sight glass is immediately behind the handle, but a small price to pay if it lasts as long as it's much more expensive predecessor! Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

Noisy boilng
I bought the kettle from the Argos shop, unseen of course. Having used it at home just once it was clear that the kettle was very noisy in operation. I returned to the shop and explained, I was told that as it had been used it could not be returned. It now resides in its box in our loft waiting for us to get totally fed up with seeing it there and giving to a charity shop.
