Super. Big enough for large joints. Husband was never convinced by the slow cooker, but after treating myself to a new one and cooking brisket in it, he is now converted. This one cooked it to perfection the meat fell apart. The only thing is there is no light to say it's on. So you have to just check it's warming (plug switched on) before leaving it. I did a 1.7kg joint and there was plenty of room for veg and sauce.

I advise that the "high" setting will sear meat, however it would be much faster to sear it beforehand in a frying pan etc and place it into the slow cooker.
