Great features for the price but weak processor
This phone has great features for the price but it's weak processor makes it very slow to operate at times e.g. when trying to unlock the screen. The lack of a fingerprint reader is frustrating, as is the very average camera capability. It seems in photo mode if you select vivid to get a better picture, that mode reverts to standard next time you use the camera. Battery life is very good and it's good that a case protector is provided as standard.

Should be zero stars! This is sold as able to use an esim. It cannot. When I returned it had to argue for a refund. Was told it couldn't be resold so therefore couldn't be refunded. Pointed out it was being missold.

I was lucky enough to be the last person to buy this item from my local Argos store, as I was told, it was the last one in stock! If you are looking for a mobile phone that is simple to use, but also provides the features of a more expensive mobile, then with the TCL 605, is the one for you. Sleek and stylish, ergonomically it looks the business. East to navigate, it provides most of the refinements of a more expensive unit, and the large screen, is certainly a bonus. The phone is sim free, and comes with a generous internal storage capacity of 128GB. My overhaul view? A fantastic bargain!

The two SIMs can either be a nano SIM and eSIM or dual eSIMs.
It will work in South Africa as long as the network provider for your SIM supports roaming.
