We bought a first new swing maxi product and the motor was not working after only four weeks (pumping 6 times per day). Then with the warranty , Medela sent us a second swing maxi motor. It worked ONLY 2 WEEKS (same frequency pumping 6 times per day). I think you have a serious product design problem. Really frustrating.

Poor Suction Due to Design Issues
While the idea behind this pump is great, the cup pieces do not fit together securely, which results in very poor suction. With my usual pump, I can typically express about 3 ounces, but with this one I was only able to get about half an ounce total after pumping both sides for 30 minutes. It seems like air is leaking into the system somewhere, preventing it from maintaining proper suction. The pump was brand new, so this issue was present right out of the box. Unfortunately, it did not perform as expected.

Suction is horrible!! PLEASE, do not waste your time with this pump. I have been nothing but frustrated and now ending my pumping journey because my insurance will only cover ONE pump.

Short lived efficiency
Worked great for the first month and a half. Motor still runs but it no longer collects any milk, despite nothing changing. I genuinely used to love how efficient it provided relief and collected so much milk. Now it is more of an annoyance and hand expression is faster. Sad because it was something I had to budget for.

We purchased this about 1 month ago and it has been fantastic. It is comfortable to wear, I can move around the house whilst it pumps and allows me to express for my newborn

I exclusively pump for my newborn and this pump is comfortable and easy to use. I also have a non Wearable medela pump as sometimes the Wearable pump doesn't empty my milk supply. I find using them as a combo is better than only the Wearable.

Wouldn't waste my time
I honestly first thought this was great. Being able to walk around the house and do things and pump. But to be honest I get more out of hand pumping. As a first time mum I think my breastfeeding/pumping journey would have been different. It's literally been defeating some days. Especially when you've pumped for 20 mins and realised the thing hasn't worked and it's 3am and you're tired as. Even when I've checked to see if it was working some times it just stops. If I could afford a different version I would. But unfortunately I'm stuck with this one. (Has been great ofor when I'm out of the house and needed to pump other than that it is the bain of my existance!!)
