Great idea
Fairly effective but needs a lot of sunlight . Handy to be able to mount in different ways if unable to screw to a wall . Probably work better in the months when there is more sunlight - spring/summer

Great CCTV camera
I’m yet to attach this to my garage. But first impressions of this camera are excellent. Everything is well laid out and explained in the instructions. And I was able to get the camera up and running in no time. Video quality looks great and the ability to move and tilt the camera is going to be very useful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Good choice
Easy to setup. Provides clear picture and is nice that you don’t need a subscription like other products. I’ve not had many sunny days since Using the camera so can’t comment on longevity of the charge time. Has been slow to charge on cloudy days, which is expected. Only downside is the cable for the solar charger could be a bit longer to allow for easier placement of the panel.

Great camera and easy to use
Pleased with this Reolink unit. The picture is sharp, and the wide coverage easily covers the whole garden. The solar panel is a plus as well, love that its wireless and easy to set up. The smart detection works well. Overall, its a handy and good quality unit.

Cost effective basic entry solar alarm system
First time grown up alarm system for our household. Easy to install and solar powered is a plus. Easy installation instructions. Setting up the area to be covered a little fiddly. The app is amazing, the notifications a little annoying when they go off continuously. However, more to do with the fact the field of vision was on the footpath and picked up every person walking past. With a little bit of fine tuning, we now in my opinion have a good deterrent to help combat the ongoing growing number of car and burglary crimes in the area I live. Loved the audio, for example could tell a delivery person where to leave a parcel. Top Tip: Good entry level but maybe spend a little more for clearer video camera images. Cannot fault the brand and would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Great product! So easy to use and connect to your WiFi as it’s completely wireless! No need to wire to your home as it’s charged with solar power. Connecting it to your phone is also so easy and it definitely helps know that you’re safe.

Easy to install and use.
This is a great camera. It is 100 percent completely wireless and the solar polar charges the installed battery thoughout the day. You literally do not have to wire this into your house like a lot of cctv systems. It is so easy to install. The camera uses your home wireless Internet, so when putting this up, you do need to make sure it is within connection range of your router. Connecting the camera to your router is very easy and simple using an app you download to your phone. It is via this app that you manage the camera, and I like that the app does not require a subscription to use its features. However, there is a cloud storage option available as a subscription. The camera does come with an SD card so you can store your recordings locally. In the app, you have lots of options; such as setting the camera to continuously record; to only record on motion; to pan left and right; and to record to a schedule. We have a wired cctv system and this camera has more options in its app than our 4 camera setup. We are seriously considering replacing our whole system with these.

Good quality camera
A nice camera, easy to set up and quick to install with the straps. We’ve put this up in a temporary location to check it works correctly before we drill it to the walls. So far, it’s worked really well. It lights up whenever our dog goes in to the garden and provides us with a little added security covering part of the garden. The picture is a little pixelated at times and we’ve had a few little connection drops but that’s likely due to the location. Weather has been bad recently so can’t judge the solar panel yet but the battery doesn’t seem to be dropping very quickly, which can only be a good sign. We’re only 97% after 4 days since the last charge, Overall, we’re happy with this product and it’s peace of mind knowing we the camera out back. It lights up at night and tracks movement.

Great camera
For the price this is a good camera and it's got an Sd card, so no for subscription. It's autumn now, so rainy cloudy days the solar doesn't charge too well, but when it's sunny it's very good and charges to a 100% even in autumn. I have managed to secure the solar inside the window instead of outside.

You can charge this by:
DC Adapter: Connect the camera to a power adapter (DC 9V/5A) to charge it directly.
Solar Panel: Use the Reolink Solar Panel for continuous power supply.
The camera is equipped with a 21.6Wh rechargeable battery and comes with a 6W solar panel for continuous power, which can extend its operational time significantly.
