About this product
The Elmdon Memory Single Divan Bed gives you a supportive place to rest after long days, with space to tuck away extra bedding and clothes. It's built around an open coil spring unit with 192 springs that keeps things stable through the night, while a 20mm layer of memory foam moulds to your body for comfort. The medium firm feel suits most sleepers. Two storage drawers sit on the left side of the base, so you can keep spare pillows, sheets or seasonal clothing close but out of sight.
The no-turn mattress requires minimal maintenance, you just rotate it regularly to even out wear. A quilted knit cover adds a soft touch on top. The divan base comes in two pieces for easier manoeuvring through doorways and up stairs. Chrome feet lift it off the floor for a clean look and simple hoovering underneath. It's designed for one person and holds up to 101.5kg. Minimal assembly needed, two people recommended for setup.
The divan base perfectly complements the mattress, with its smart design, durability and practicality. While also providing extra storage inside the 2 built-in drawers.

Checked maximum user weight before I paid. When it arrived I could tell it wouldn't last. One part of the base is broken only 2 weeks from delivery. Mattress is OK though

Good for the price
Seems good so far. Base looks solid although would have preferred metal attachments, instead of plastic, that I had with my last divan bed. Mattress is a bit noisy with springs making noise sometimes. Don't know if that's normal as not had a spring mattress in many years. Overall, the bed and mattress seem good for the price paid. Looking at double that price and more for a branded version of the same.

I bought 2 of these beds, for my great grandchildren, age 5 and 8 years old ,they are well made, the children love THERE'S, the beds are well made and look strong, also the benefit of the storage is great not so many toys are all over the floor, so pleased with them.thank you argos

Great as a spare bed
