Great shave
I've always used Philips razors and this is the best one yet, feels good in your hand ,not to heavy and easy to use. Would highly recommend this shaver to others.

It does shave well but I have a problem area just under my R jawline which I can never shave closely whether with this shaver or a foil one. I never seem to be able to achieve perfect pressure or movement on the app!

Best one in 71 years of using Philips shavers
I have used Philips/Norelco since 1956. This is the best they have produced. I highly recommend it. However only 4 stars because there is no power adapter, only a USB type cable, and the shaving heads are a little too far apart and they tend to. go two ways at once, and one head then gets stuck on the nose or chin etc. Also they do not slide as well as the earlier shavers did. The "special coating" does not really workout it is a very good shaver. The best

Latest technical features.
The shaver gives a close shave, and if in a hurry, the high speed can be selected. The shavers heads require deep cleaning more often others which require the heads to be carefully dismantled which cannot be hurried and is time consuming. Other than this, am very satisfied with all of the features.

I purchased the i9000 Prestige Ultra XP9402/31 Wet and Dry Electric Shaver after receiving a promotional email from Philips. The shaver is comfortable to hold and gives a very close shave. It has lots of great features, including a light that changes colour, which together with the app lets you know how well you are using the shaver. The cleaning pod is very easy to use and I can also use the existing Jet Clean Solution I have from my previous Philips shaver. When I registered the shaver, it activated a 7 year warranty. It is suggested that the heads are changed every 2 years. I am very happy with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend especially when on promotion.

Retrograde step after the 9000 series
The shaving heads aren't as close as they were on the previous model, (9000 Series S9211) and thus I do not get as good a shave compared with the earlier model. In addition, it is far bigger and doesn't have a convenient carrying case for weekends away with a small overnight bag. Clumsier to use.
