We bought this bed and mattress via Groupon and are pleased that we did as for the price it’s very comfortable and handy to store underneath. The only issues we had were that it wasn’t advertised that it was a self build so we were a bit surprised when it arrived and unfortunately the measurements were for the bed base and not the headboard (being the widest part) so it didn’t fit the original gap between our fitted wardrobes but after some tweaking we were able to make it fit. The bed and base are very sturdy the only negative is that we found the black sheeting provided to go beneath the base was a waste of time and haven’t used it, but we’re still able to store plenty underneath it just means that it’s sitting on the floor which isn’t a problem.

Poor Quality
Thats the worst bed, its too low, the mattress is very poor, didn’t know Argos is now selling pictures. This is a big shame to Argos as a brand. I wouldn’t recommend this bed to anyone.

Brilliant Bed!
Had been looking for an under bed storage bed for a while, came across this one and loved how it looked. Delivery went so well and they even helped my husband with it upstairs. Assembly was smooth, would recommend watching the video first, it makes the picture instructions a bit more understandable but easy to follow and can rewatch if unsure. We got the lighter one and it’s a lovely colour and material is good quality! I did get the mattress as well and it does the job but do think we’ll be looking to get a slightly larger one as it moves down a tad. Not a negative just a personal preference.

I this nearly a month but I was disappointed and saddened. The mattress was not to my expectations, the was not the size of the bed, completely loose.

Decent bed, mattress ok, good storage
The bed is sturdy, looks nice and storage underneath with lift up access is perfect. I am not keen on the mattress that it came with but that’s a personal preference - it will do with a topper for now. ASSEMBLY: WATCH THE VIDEO! There is a video link in the assembly instructions and I strongly advise following this. The printed instructions are a bit confusing at times (and I'm fairly good with self assembly instructions), however the video saved me a lot of time trying to figure them out.
