Great Toaster
This toaster looks good in my kitchen with the matching kettle. It has wide slots which hold thick bread, bagels, hot cross buns etc easily. It toasts evenly and much quicker than my previous toaster, also has the reheat and defrost function integrated on the dial. The only reason for giving 5 stars is that numbers 1-6 don't really do much, therefore to have the bread nicely toasted, not burnt I have to have the dial at 7-8.

I used it for the first time, and in each slice compartment, the burners only fully worked on one side; on the other, just a few of the burners worked. After attempting to toast several slices, the same compartment caused the bread to curl, so I could not remove it from the toaster. I returned it to the retailer.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
I bought this toaster, in August 2024. Ever since I’ve had it, it never toasts properly. I have it on a setting 9 which is the highest toasting setting, the bread does not toast I have to put it down again for a 2nd time on a setting 9, it will then be toasted. It’s highly unusual to have a toaster on the highest setting and have to put it through twice in order to receive toast. Most disappointed, I should’ve stuck with a Dualit!

We would like to clarify that the unit in question does not feature long slots. If you are looking for a toaster that can accommodate longer slices of bread, we recommend the VTR023 model, which is designed with long slots specifically for that purpose.

You can lower the right-hand side of the toaster independently, without needing to lower the left side first. However, please note that the left-hand side will not operate on its own — it is designed to work only when the right-hand side is also in use.
