Easy to install, compatible with my old line, and made from galvanised metal so it shouldn't corroded in the ground. Once hammered into the ground, the washing line was stable.

Perfect spike - provides excellent stability
After using other brands of rotary driers, I’ve found Brabantia to be superior. We have a clay-rich soil so would recommend using postcrete to really stabilise the spike in the ground, but have had no issues with stability - even with very heavy loads drying.
