About this product
This divan bed set gives you a comfortable place to sleep and practical storage underneath for a tidy bedroom. The Argos Home Elmdon Comfort combines a mattress with medium support and a divan base fitted with four generous drawers. The open coil mattress uses 288 springs to distribute weight evenly, with soft padding beneath a deep-quilted damask cover that wipes clean. It's a no-turn mattress, so you rotate it regularly instead of flipping. The divan base provides storage for bedding, spare pillows, or clothing that's not in season.
The damask cover is quilted for texture and protection. The mattress depth sits at 19cm, and the base adds 38cm below. Four storage drawers slide out from both sides, so you can push the bed against a wall without losing access. Each drawer provides space measuring 78cm wide and 44cm deep inside. Chrome feet support the frame, and the base arrives in two pieces for easier delivery through doorways. Minimal assembly needed, two people recommended. It supports users up to 203kg and comes with a one year manufacturer's guarantee.

The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

check the position to access the sliding storage
first bed delivered had a huge hole in the base, looked like it had been damaged in transit, quickly remedied with a call to customer service and a replacement sent without incident. Bed itself decent enough quality, but the sliding storage means the bed can only be positioned against a left hand wall as the headboard fixings are only on one end

It only fits onto one of the bases, but you can flip them round if required 180ª.
