About this product
Stay comfortable all year round with this duck feather duvet that's filled with 100% ethically sourced duck feather with RDS approval. The 10.5 tog warmth makes it suitable for every season, while the natural feather filling allows air to circulate through the night. The soft touch cover is made from a blend of cotton and man-made fibres for a smooth feel against your skin. This king size duvet measures 220x225cm, which means it drapes generously over your mattress with plenty of coverage.
The feather filling is naturally breathable and lightweight, so it sits comfortably without feeling heavy. It's machine washable, though a professional laundry service is recommended for a more thorough clean. The duvet is also suitable for tumble drying, which makes care straightforward when you need a quick refresh. Cozy and warm
I have the double-size version and needed a single for a spare room. It has the Right weight and warmth.

So cosy and fresh
Bought this last week after my last duvet ended up heavier at one end. This one is sooo lovely and gives that fresh feeling every time you get into it. The only issue is that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning...

Excellent but need lower tog for summer
Really happy - very soft and warm. I would say too warm for a summer duvet.

Hello Vicster,
I can advise the following for the Habitat Duck Feather 13.5 Tog Duvet - Single:
Is box‑stitched to keep the feathers evenly distributed.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Yes, absolutely, horribly noisy in my opinion. If youre not a heavy sleeper, choose a synthetic quilt instead
Yes this makes a terrible crinkle noise its like sleeping under a bin bag or crisp packet. I am taking it back in the morning. It has kept us both up all night sadly
YES, DEFINITELY!
I bought this duvet on April 2025 and took it back very quickly. Its very crinkly and the cover looks nothing like the photos. Also very sweaty to sleep under as the noisy cover doesnt breathe properly.
Hi grace,

Hi Snaggler
Ethical down as used in the Habitat Duck Feather 10.5 Tog Duvet - Single is defined as feathers from birds that were not live-plucked, force-fed, or raised in cramped conditions.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Kerry,
Yes, the Habitat Duck Feather 10.5 Tog Duvet would be cooler than a 13.5 duvet a 4.5 Tog duvet would be a Lightweight Cooler Quilt as well.
Thank you for using Q&A
You would need a very large drum washing machine to fit a king sized dovet. Never fill a drum more than two thirds full, you will overload the machine and there wont be enough space to wash it thoroughly.
The only time I ever fill a machine to three quarters full, max, is with light weight T-shirts and underwear only.
With towels and other heavy clothing, like jumpers, jackets or jeans etc, it is a half fill. Be kind to the machine and they live longer.
Hello Shazza,

Thanks for using Q&A.
