Just the job
Bought this at Christmas for my son (age 14). He uses it regularly, kicking and punching it repeatedly. Five months later, it is as good as new. Very sturdy and of excellent quality. After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Everlast Target Freestanding Punchbag: Yes, it can be used on carpet without any problem.
However, please make sure not to fill the base completely with water before use. If the punching force is strong, the base may bounce slightly and an overfilled base could cause water to spill. This may result in the carpet becoming wet.

We're unable to provide a quantified answer to this as there's a number of variables to consider. There is a higher risk of someone, whether they're a child or not, injuring themselves without something to cover or protect the hands. However, it'd depend on the existing training or skill of the user as to how hard they'd judge being able to punch it and the technique they use to do so too.

You cant. I train kickboxing and hit a single round kick and you cannot build combinations with this bag because it just flails all over the place

We can confirm that it weighs 70 pounds when filled with water and measures 60 inches tall at the highest setting. It does have a stable and secure stand, which can be filled with water or sand. It would be suitable for an adult up to 70Kg in weight.
