Blows cold
I've not used it in very hot temperatures yet, but it blows out plenty of cold air so should be great next time it's 30 Celsius outside.

Neat little unit
Neat and compact machine. Quite noisy but no worse than my normal fan on full. Wish the hose on these machines was a bit thinner as they are very cumbersome. I’m in a small flat with swing windows and French doors, so quite difficult to fit the hose. I have managed to source an extension with a flatter end to hopefully fit the window better. I would say a perfect unit if you have sash windows.

Don’t waste your time
Really disappointed with the performance to the point whereby we sent it back. Had it in a small room and left it on for 4 hours - took the time to ensure it was installed correctly - identical room was the exact same temperature so it effectively did nothing. Save your time and do not purchase.

Game changer
Working amazing in this may heatwave actually got a bit to cold have to turn it down rather than off though otherwise the room is back up in heat. Game changer Lou's but I will take that over the heat anyday

Excellent product
Bought as a last minute purchase knowing I had to survive a heatwave with a very active 5 year old and 3 year old, no regrets. Really powerful, easy set up, efficient, cools the room perfectly. The only slight issue is that it is noisy, so I won't be using overnight, but well worth it to feel a bit cooler in this 30 plus degree heat. Meaco make really solid, reliable products and I have peace of mind knowing this is safer than some random make.

A worthwhile expense but has its drawbacks
Cools baby room down well beforehand but does need time to work and relatively simple to set up which was great. However the noise is a lot louder than I expected, even at lowest fan speed and fan mode - almost impossible to sleep with. Also quite heavy so not easy to transfer room to room, despite the wheels.

I bought this towards the end of the summer months and found it really cools tge bedroom down. I only gave 4 stars as it is noisy to keep on all night.

Works as it should in every way
Bought this in summer during the heatwave, gotta say it made more of a difference and some. Had to turn it off at times as the room got even colder sometimes. No regrets here

Yes, it can. All their portable air conditioners can be used to dry clothes, but they all need to dried via a hose because these only have very small internal tanks.

I can advise the following for the Meaco Cool MC 8000CHBTU Air Conditioner:
This doesn't have a heater built in, it uses the heat created by the Air Conditioning unit to warm the air up but you can't set it to 25ºc and it will warm the room up, it will only warm as much as the air available.
