About this product
Control the light and mood in your room with this wooden Venetian blind that lets you adjust the slats with a simple turn of the wand. You'll find it perfect for dimming the space for a cosy evening or letting gentle daylight filter through in the morning. It's made from basswood that's naturally strong and warp-resistant, so it handles heat and moisture brilliantly, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms or sun-facing windows. The slats tilt smoothly to give you precise control over privacy and brightness, and the automatic safety lock adds peace of mind.
The blind comes with all the fixtures and fittings you need, so you can mount it inside or outside your window recess or directly to the wall. It's been tested to meet 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120, and the 50mm slats can be removed if you need to clean or adjust them. Wipe it clean with blind cleaner to keep it looking fresh, and it's backed by a one-year guarantee for reassurance. Please note To ensure child safety and comply with health and safety requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing these blinds to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.

Customers Say
Stylish, good quality wooden blinds that are easy to install and adjust, offering great value. Some issues with packaging damage and short handles, but overall highly recommended for their sturdy build and attractive look.

Fine product, terrible packaging.
The shutter blinds came damaged twice with the first time being large cracks on the blind and wooden panel cover and the second time being scuffs over multiple areas. Although this is likely due to the delivery company, the packaging is too thin for this type of product.

Great blind but handle too short!!
The blind is lovely, strong, sturdy. and looks great! The reason that I only gave 4 🌟 is because the handle is very short and when I need to twiddle it to open the blind, I have to stretch up and strain my back. Another 6 inches on the handle would be perfect and would then deserve 5 🌟.

Value for Money
Product review - the blinds are great value for the price and really easy to adjust the length - the width options seem to be tailored to victorian sized windows which is great as they fit the frames in my home nicely. and very easy to install if you own a cordless drill & good drill bits, depending on what you are fixing too & they look great! Delivery Review - arrived super fast - quicker than estimated

Great quality but let down by the instructions
Thought it was a little expensive but it was exactly what we were after, size, colour etc, so we made the purchase, and the quality is good.. Delivery didn't take too long. My basic DIY skills allowed me to mount the fixings, although the instructions aren't the best. Pictures are too small and there is very little written explanation, you have to work it out for yourself. Pictures didn't match the supplied fittings and there are couple of bits left over that I cannot find a use for, so hoping they weren't important. Overall, once fitted it looks great and works well.

Hello Winnie,
The supplier has advised the following for the Little Black Book Basswood Warm Grey Venetian Blind - 180cm:
"1. The height: When the blind is fully lowered, there should be no slats overlapping at the bottom of the blind. If overlapping occurs you can remove slats to allow a custom fit.
2. Hold the blind at the desired location and allow it to fully lower. In the open position the slats should be approximately 4.5cm apart.
3. Lay blind on a flat surface and remove the caps on the bottom end slat. The caps are attached to the lift cords.
4. Pull the lift cord from the bottom end slat to the ladder rung.
5. Count the number of slats you wish to remove. Pull lift cord from these slats to allow them to slide out of the ladder rung.
6. Remember to allow for the bottom end slat to be reinserted. Reinsert the lift cord through the cap holes and then insert back through the top and the caps.
7. Knot lift cord directly beneath caps and cut off excess cord. Allow one extra rung and cut off excess ladder, now tuck remaining ladder into the bottom end slat cap holes. Replace caps.
8. After blind is shortened, you may wish to adjust the pull cord length, this is best done where the cords enter the plastic safety device. Gently pull the cords apart just above the device to open and release the cords. Shorten each cord and re-knot at the end of each cord before re-assembling."
Thank you for using Q&A.

To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children. Cords may become wrapped around a child's neck. Move beds, cots and furniture away from the window so that they are not covering the cords. Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.
