Not as smart as you think
The TV has many modern day functions and does the job.... HOWEVER... I think there needs to be more clarity on the apps!!..... You cannot download the catch up channels bbc/itv/5 etc. because it's an android TV with apps from the playstore that does not support these apps..... A bit disappointing

I wouldn’t buy again personally
Previously I usually look at LG and Samsung for a TV, due to current cash flow constraints I looked at cheaper options and found this Which recommended tv. It is not terrible but for me I wish I had spent a little bit more and gone for one of the aforementioned brands. I found setting it up took a while and could not easily use it after so I ended up resetting and doing the quicker set up. I find it very slow and clunky, it is just a bedroom tv so we kept it, the picture quality is very good, I can’t comment on the sound quality as it is connected to a separate speaker. If you want to wall mount it, the nuts that fit to a bracket are not supplied and are vey thin. Time will tell how long it lasts before needing replacing, we only replace when they stop working.

Initially we were a bit disappointed that it only supports certain apps but we are able to access everything we need through the Firestick. Overall fantastic value for money 😊

Don't buy from Argos on line and Collect in Store!
I bought this TCL 32 inch Android TV to replace my Toshiba Smart TV. I went for a TCL as I already had the TCL 32SF540K Fire TV, that I use as an occasional monitor for my laptop. This time I went for the Android TV as I thought it would be easier to get apps for. I ordered it on line and chose to collect it in store. This was a serious mistake and I will never do this again. On arrival I unpacked the TV and set it up. I was reasonably happy with the picture and sound for a cheap TV. When I went to set up the Smart TV apps I was extremely disappointed to find that there was no App for the main stream streaming services BBC ITX CH4! I then connected my Laptop to the HDMI input and I was very disappointed with the quality of the screen. It is a 1920 x 180 display and the text was terrible and blurred. I couldn't understand this when my TCL 32SF540K Fire TV was terrific. I decided to return the TV and pay the £10 extra to buy the replacement for my current Fire TV the TCL 32 Inch 32SF560-UK. I naively assumed by distance selling rights allowed me to return the item free of charge within 14 days. When I got to the store I was told that I couldn't do that as I had collected the item in store! I then asked about the 30 day returns policy and was told as I had opened the box and set the TV up I couldn't return it! I was so disappointed, to find that Argos do not honor the distance selling rules when the item is bought on line and collected in store. I suppose I should have read all the small print before buying but where on the site does it say that! Again I should have noted that when Agos list compatible apps they do not expect an Android TV to work with any Android TV App. I had to side load the Apps I was missing to have ITVX, BBC iPlayer, and CH4 on the TV.

Full HD is 1080p. A 768p panel is HD Ready, but is NOT full HD. This item seems to be misdescribed, and the Argos official answers seem to be dancing around that fact.
