About this product
The Argos Home Elmdon Small Double Divan Bed provides a comfortable place to sleep and practical storage. This complete set includes a mattress and divan base for everyday support. The open coil mattress has 264 springs that spread your weight evenly and provide medium firmness. Soft cushioning layers and a quilted damask cover add comfort without losing support. The divan base has four built-in storage drawers, two on each side, for bedding, clothes or pillows. Its small double size fits bedrooms where space is limited.
The mattress doesn't need turning, just rotate it regularly to even out wear over time. Chrome feet lift the base slightly off the floor and add stability. The divan comes in two pieces for easier delivery and setup, though you'll need two people to put it together. Each drawer measures 78.3cm wide and 43.8cm deep, enough room for bulky items. The natural finish works with most bedroom colour schemes. The base sits 38cm high, a standard height that works with most bed frames. Minimal assembly required with two people recommended.

The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

check the position to access the sliding storage
first bed delivered had a huge hole in the base, looked like it had been damaged in transit, quickly remedied with a call to customer service and a replacement sent without incident. Bed itself decent enough quality, but the sliding storage means the bed can only be positioned against a left hand wall as the headboard fixings are only on one end
