No Teletext !!!!
I brought this in Argos and they were fine. But the product was not!!! I tried to get teletext and all I got was a screen message, Not Available 🙁🙁 I tried a number of different ways to access it but to no avail. Should have brought a different tv.

Yes, a Sony soundbar can be connected to the Samsung 50” QE50QEF1AU TV. The TV supports standard audio connections, so compatibility will not be an issue.
The recommended connection method is HDMI ARC / eARC (if your Sony soundbar supports this). You would simply connect an HDMI cable from the TV’s HDMI port labelled ARC/eARC to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar. This provides the best sound quality and allows the TV remote to control the soundbar volume.
If your soundbar does not support HDMI ARC, you can alternatively connect it using an optical (digital audio) cable, which is also fully supported by this TV.
Bluetooth connection is also available if your Sony soundbar supports Bluetooth, although a wired connection is recommended for the best audio performance.

The manufacturer of this Samsung 50 Inch QE50QEF1AU Smart 4K UHD HDR QLED TV has advised that it has a 178° viewing angle. Please note this is the angle at which an image is visible, but image quality can degrade at high angles. The best experience would always be head-on.
They do also advise that an OLED panel may be more suitable if you're viewing at an angle over 45°.
