Cheap case is unbalanced with the cue inside
The cue itself seems fine. But the case is very cheap and doesn’t balance whichever way you put on the two parts of the cue. One end is heavy (of course) but the handle on the case is in the middle so the heavy end pills down and you can’t carry the case straight. Easy thing to fix. Poor design.

Nice cue for the money
I have always played with a one piece cue so had some reservations about a cue with a joint in the middle. The cue has been excellent to play with and the joint stays tight and does not affect the feel of the cue. I like the black finish which slides nicely on the bridge hand. The convenience of carrying the two piece cue in its' case rather than a long one piece is a real bonus. Altogether I think this is a very nice cue for the price.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Riley 2 Piece Snooker/Pool Cue: The cue oil won't make a difference as the black coating will prevent it from being absorbed in to the shaft. It will simply come off on the hands.
