About this product
Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Paint is a tough, scratch resistant finish that allows you to create a writeable and wipeable chalkboard surface on a wide range of substrates. Apply to walls, metal, wood, plastic, hardboard and more. It cleans with soap and water and erases cleanly. For best results, prime your chalkboard with a coating of chalk before use and wipe off to prevent ghosting when written on.

I bought this to paint a piece of wood to create an outdoor chalkboard for my children. It was really easy to paint on, I did 2 coats and it left a great finish. The chalk goes on really nicely.

Chalkboard in my office
Needed 2 cans for the whole wall but looks lovely. can be washed but it will still show some traces. Don't use chalk markers. It will be very difficult to erase them.

Yeah, I bought some chalk-markers from a competitor (soz Argos) and they work a charm. Wipe right off with a damp cloth.
