Very Poor Sound
Unfortunately I had to return this item as the sound was so poor I couldn't face listening to it. It's a shame as all the other expects were very good. Well designed, nice looks, very easy to select pre-sets and excellent reception. But if the most essential feature - the sound - is so bad you can't listen to it then it's a fail. The sound is so bad that with speech the presenters sound like they have a lisp or are slurring there words and with sound there's a constant buzz in the background. Awful.

Poor sound quality
Very muddy reception. Quite unintelligible at any distance. The pre-sets make it impossible to do any fine tuning. If I'd had a chance to listen to it in a shop, I wouldn't have bought it.

Very Poor
Bought this a few weeks ago and returned it. Sound is very poor and gets worse with volume. Most of the stations don't work on the DAB radio. Music played through Bluetooth is tinny and flat. Build quality feels cheap. For a radio that is £50 you would expect a lot more, I would say its on par with a £15 radio. Don't waste you money on this

Good quality radio
Had this radio for a few weeks now, really easy to set up and tune, the presets are very useful for your favourite channels. Sound quality is good for a radio this size. Can't comment on battery as I've only ever used the mains lead but wouldn't expect there to be any issues. Overall a good radio.

Stylish Usable Unit
Bought this to use as an alarm clock. It has a lot of features included, though given that it has Bluetooth connectivity, some may rue the lack of a USB charging port; additionally, some of the functions are only available when powered by mains. It is a very useable unit, and easy to learn radio. For me the only snag in its usability is accessing the Sleep Timer menu, which is buried within the settings menu, which when wanting to use it as a bedside unit, may be a bother when dosing off listening to it. So having a more direct route to access it would be nice to have. Additionally, the choice of sleep duration (10/20/30/60/70/80/90 minutes), is incomplete which seems odd to me. This is a shame, given the ease of use of the unit as a whole. While it seems to geared for mains use, it can be used with 4off ‘C’ Batteries, which adds to the size of the unit. The battery life is ~8 hours. While this may not seem like much, it is in keeping with other radios with TFT screens when run off batteries, such as the Panasonic RF-D15 and the Pure Elan DAB+ portable. The clear TFT screen is clear with variable dim level. One feature is useful, is that the clock display when in standby is changeable, which I think is nice Sound quality is good for what it is; depending on what you are listening to, may lack some bass response. However, listening to classical or talk based stations, such as Radio 3 Radio 4 Classic FM, this is not a problem Overall, though not perfect, a nice stylish unit, with a lot to like about it
