It's squeaky when I move around on it, which isn't great, maybe I need to tighten all the bolts on it, or grease them out something, it's also a mission to put together, you need time and space and patience

I bought 2 of these aspire ottoman bed frames about 2 month's ago and I'm really happy and satisfied with this product. It's really sturdy, and has lots of space to store items, so it's great for small rooms. My daughters absolutely love this bed, and I personally found it quite easy to build

OK, but because the sides are level with ends, floor must be Totally level otherwise the bed does not sit on ground. It needs pads on each leg end to elevate just a little so that any imperfections on floor can be eliminated.

This has a fabric base under the ottoman part of the bed. There isn't a cover that goes on top of the items you are placing under the ottoman.

The height to the top of the side rails is 33cm, so the depth of the mattress you choose would be in addition to that in height.

The supplier has advised the following for the Aspire Atlantic Small Double End Lift Ottoman Bed - White:
"I am sorry, we do not have this measurement, however it would not be much more than the height of the bed closed." (The bed's full height is 102cm).
They also add this: "No this would not be stable, it needs to be either closed or open, on the newer revisions there is even a support bar to ensure it does not close while open. Similar to how a car bonnet its propped up with a bar."
