Having had several Dyson products including hoovers I knew that the quality would be excellent. My only criticism for this product is that it feels heavy and a bit clumsy especially when changing the attachments over and when using without the wand to hoover smaller items. The dust container is very long and as I am fairly short I do feel that it can be a little awkward to use. The suction however is excellent as I would have expected.

This is my 3rd Dyson, my first the animal plug in,2nd the original cordless and now the amazing v15 detect. Nothing wrong with the previous 2, the animal I purchased in 2012 and still going strong!

Not good on rugs disappointing.
Changed back to a Dyson from another top brand, and must admit I am disappointed. It's really good on hard floors, but when it comes to carpets whatever setting you really have to pull it along and it lifts your rugs. It's a lot of money and really is not the real deal. Sorry Dyson but I will be sending you back and returning to my previous vacuum.

Superior to any other brand!
I bought this over a month ago so wanted to give it a good test before leaving a review. I’m so happy with the product, the power and battery life is incredible. I had tried another well known brand and there is no comparison, this item is so much better and worth every penny. Love how the tools fit onto the actual machine, such a great feature.

Excellent Machine
Having owned various models of Dyson vacuums over many years I have not been disappointed with the V15 Detect. I upgraded to the V15 from the V8 which I still have, but the performance and suction power of the V15 is far superior. The number of attachments is brilliant as well. My only negative thing about the V15 is … it is a lot heavier than my previous cordless Dyson machines. Apart from that I am very happy with it.

100% best cordless vacuum I have ever owned.
I have no words this machine is the best cordless vacuum I have ever used. I have been using an older Dyson cordless which I have loved and used daily. It was only because I broke the attachment that i decided to treat myself. I was convinced that it was perfectly fine and I loved how it performed - Absolutely no comparison. It’s like going from a small mini to a super-charged racing car. I have a mix of floors and I can say it has outperformed my old Dyson tenfold. It’s lovely to use, the attachments are perfect as always. It has cut my daily cleaning time in half. The proof is in this much it collects in the dust chamber. It’s very quiet and slightly heavier than my old one but the performance and ease of use and the fact it has cut my cleaning time in half makes it a far easier option for m - I have arthritis in my hands which can limit how and when I vacuums my only regret is I didn’t purchase this model sooner. My old model is now used by my husband for the car and he loves it. The battery life is excellent and watching the performance levels is making my daily vacuuming very enjoyable. No doubt this cordless vacuum will last for years like all my other dysons. I have two hairy dogs and a few cats and it obliterated every animal hair in sight.
