It's a 1900W corded machine that suits small to medium gardens perfectly. You'll choose between mulching grass clippings or collecting them in the 20L box. The mulching feature recycles clippings back into your lawn to return nutrients to the soil. It's got four cutting heights from 12mm to 33mm so you'll maintain healthy grass length. The carbon steel blade delivers a clean cut across the 33cm cutting width.
You'll operate it comfortably with either hand using the full width switch. The soft grip ergonomic handle reduces fatigue during longer mowing sessions. Quick release folding handles make storage simple when you're done. It's got a front wheel that helps you transport the mower around your garden. The 12m power cable gives you plenty of reach without constant unplugging. This corded hover mower means consistent power throughout the job.

I have only used it once so far but it seems to work well. The cable is a reasonable length and so far so good.

Good Results but Painful on the Hands & Wrists
The Spear & Jackson was easy to assemble. The mower is light to manoeuvre. It leaves a good cut. The power handle vibrates, it is a poor design that needs a fair amount of strength to operate it. If your garden is any length it will need an extension cable.

Good value for money, built to last.
Bought this at the start of the season to replace a Flymo. Much better construction because the handle is connected with butterfly screws, unlike my Flymo which has plastic pegs which came out and renders the machine unusable as they no longer stay in place. Cutting and grass collection good and not too noisy. Easy to put together and robust. Good value for money. Happy to recommend.
